Looks environmentally friendly

I hated the last one, the font was ugly, the colour was ugly and the swirly window thing was ugly. I like squares as well. Oh and tekmosis that neoseeker logos awesome

never liked that old logo to begin with, it always reminded me of windows 98 for some reason.

I personally like it a lot and know why they chose to go this route. I for one like this change.

Google chromes on the other hand is simplicity logo done wrong.

it must of been so hard to make

I didn't include 7 in my statement because it isn't abysmal and is pretty decent/good. Businesses make up a huge part of Microsoft's client base. They will not want this Metro garbage as it doesn't seem geared to the workplace at all. Game developers are already saying their distaste towards the new OS and a couple have said they may look into Linux because of it. This makes it sound bad for gamers when you read this. I know I won't be getting Windows 8 as it's very apparent Microsoft is forgetting their roots and is trying too hard to be Apple, looking for an OS that runs on everything, which isn't the functionally smart thing to do.

Well yeah, it makes sense for your company. Were the other developers you've spoken too in the same side of the industry(touch screen ent.)? Also, I'm talking the typical business, more-or-less, and not saying every single business will hate it as you are taking it too literally. The typical business that doesn't focus primarily on developing for touch screen entertainment will not benefit from the new design from what I've read.
