	Log in to remove this sponsored message For some reason AVG corrupted so now I uninstalled it. It didn't uninstall completely, so I tried deleting the program files folder. I get a I need permission to delete this file. so right click> properties and got permission there. And it still says I need permission to delete it! Needs help here.

	I'm assuming your running vista. Try temporarily disabling UAC. Instructions, and then try deleting them again. What do you think could have corrupted your Anti-Virus? What were you doing before it got corrupted? This might happen again if you have malware on your computer.

	I think a .dll file got corrupted It was called avggui I tihnk?

	Disabled UAC using the first method (msconfig) but I still need permission.

	what OS do you use? they have a 64 bit version, so you can use that. EDIT: reading some more, i found out that they dont have one. misread. -------------------

	The faq said that it doesn't support 64 bit yet. Oh and Vista.

	Try to forcibly delete the file/folder using Killbox. It has actually sometimes worked for me. Also try moving the file to another folder (like your Downloads folder), and then try to delete it from there. That has actually sometimes worked for me aswell...

	bleep I can't even delete with killbox. It says something about: MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies missing or something like that. I'll have to try that other idea.... EDIT: WOOT WORKED! AND GOT CCLEANER TO THE LAsT BIT OF cLEANUP

	Do you mean MY other idea worked? The one where you move the file/folder to another folder and delete it from their? Just want some clarification.

	you could uninstall any of your system programs completely by using recommended uninstaller application like mirekusoft uninstaller or revouninstaller
