Chrono Trigger vs Chrono Cross

What was your opinion concerning the two currently released games in the Chrono Saga? Did you feel that Chrono Trigger was better? Or did you enjoy Chrono Cross more? Compare and contrast the games and debate the issue here.

I loved Chrono Cross, but Trigger takes the cake. It seems so much more detailed, so much more interesting than its successor. Chrono Cross just seems to get a little boring after a while, an Chrono Trigers seems to have a lot more gameplay. There are less characters, so you can develop them more and get to "know" them better. Sure, the graphics aren't the best, but that's what's so quaint about the game.

Definetly Chrono Trigger. They go indepth with the characters giving some backround on the characters. In chrono Cross its just: Oooh two paragraphs about this character...wait found playable character 34.....forget about previous characters histoy. So many playable people they didn't have much of a story.

I would have to say I like Trigger more because in the introduction suquel [spelling?] It just reminds me of anime cartoons alot like DBZ.[Ooops.How on earth did I manage to get myself into the topic of DBZ anyways?;]

i like them both alot! but i didn't like the chrono trigger version on the psx, i just hate the anime cut scenes. they had to make fmv movies instead of anime.
but back to the point, i can't choose, and don't want to beacause they are both great and very different.

Chrono Cross, a Playstation game with so many let downs. When Chrono Cross first appeared to ever be created there was the question "Will Crono and the rest of the gang mainly Marle, Lucca and Magus be casting in the game?" That was the question to know. So when the game came out I bought. I noticed that there were at least 3 new characters Serge, Lynx and Kid.
javascript: smile()Apon playing the game, ono an on I kept waiting for Crono and the gang to appear. And to my amazement they did. But the were ghosts, (Dead,decessed,not living) right then and there, Chrono Cross let me down. Who could you kill Crono, etc.... From them on Chrono Cross has been and always will be, the worst and misunderstood sequel to the best RPG game in history.

(I did end up beating the game, it wasn't anything special neither)

Long live Chrono Trigger. No other game can compare.

now! as we all know,...Chrono Trigger kicked the crap out of it's sequel (or prequel) Chrono cross...and therefore..Chrono Cross was a extreme put down because Crono is a gohst..and what i don't get is Chrono cross is supposed to be in the past 20 years before Chrono Trigger but either way Crono wouldn't be living at all for that matter..but after all the summeries Chrono Trigger is the best!

Most people think that Chrono Cross sucked, but I loved it. I have to admit that it could never live up to Chrono Trigger, though. It's a great game even now.
