Looks like we're hearing a little more about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, albeit secondhand. New details are emerging from German magazine GameStar, who appears to have an exclusive on CD Projekt's upcoming RPG. So what's new?
CD Projekt estimates that The Witcher 3 should eat up around 50 hours, which sounds about right for an RPG. Obviously this will vary based on how much you choose to do in the game, given the amount of optional content there is and the multiple endings.
Additionally, players can visit a total of 36 states in the game, and this will depend on your choices. These choices will also determine which of three endings you'll ultimately earn.
The German publication also mentioned the possibility of importing save files from previous Witcher games. CD Projekt has expressed an interest in adding this feature, but right now, the Polish studio just isn't sure how feasible that is given the new hardware they have to work with.
The Witcher 3 is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, and the yet-to-be-announced next-gen Xbox console.
