Fallout 4 game ending?

In Fallout 3, it was a closed ending until the player downloaded the Broken Steel DLC. This made the game open up and allow players to see their choices affect the wasteland.

In New Vegas, it stayed closed. The player didn't really see the consequences or rewards of their actions. While a lot of people liked how it was, some really wished they could explore Vegas post-Dam.

So, for Fallout 4 (whatever game it might be), would you want an open or closed ending?

I, too, feel this way. I understand how difficult it could be with new Vegas because there were so many different choices to be made, but I am willing to wait an extra month for an open ending.

I would like it to be open but I am fine with closed.

Taking into account Bethesda and their handling of Skyrim, it'll be open-ended, to further emphasise the core elements of their primary series; freedom and exploration.

The only cool thing about post ending gameplay on Fallout 3 is any unfinished DLC and the Super-Mutant blood samples. It's like a cool shootemup by that point and you can play with all the big guns and fire off the fatman with the nukes you collected. I don't mind if it's open ended or closed ended because it will probably be worth a second playthrough anyway, but it would be sweet if there are multiple endings and more of an impact made by your style of gaming.
