Environments - Ones you want to return, and new ones you want

A thread about Environments. Which ones do you want to see return, and do you have an idea for a new one?

Personally I'd like some kind of swampy environment, complete with it's own swampy enemies. A swamp that actually slows you down, forcing you to take the bridge(As long as it's still standing)

I'd also like the return of the underground Metro tunnels. I used to hate them but damn I miss them, though I imagine if the game is set in Boston, it wouldn't be as expansive as DC. Maybe not anywhere as near.

3rd, I'd like the return of a Pitt style environment, like a heavy industrial place. I'm sure Ajax would as well.

More buildings like the Statesman Hotel. I want vast buildings with large amounts of enemies.

I'd love to have an airport to explore. I know you had McCarran in New Vegas, but I never really felt like I was exploring an airport. Plus it was all relatively intact.

I'd like it have a check in area, baggage area, departure area etc. But have the whole place really dark, spooky and infested with the likes of Ghouls, and Raiders. I guess what I'd like is something with a similar layout to the 'Terminal' map in CoD, but obviously done in a Fallout style.

Like the Factory.

That would indeed be awesome. I always liked it when the lights would go out in Bioshock, then a shadow would be cast in front of you lit by a flash of light, the lights go back on and the shadow is gone. Hopefully a few "that scared the S**t of me" moments will be put into this game.

It's a nice idea. There was an airport in New Vegas, right near the bottom right of the map, but it had no interior at all, and only had a single tower anyway.

Do you mean the airport with the Radscorpions? If so, you've held the map upsidedown...
Of course, there was the Boomers' base too, that was in the south part of the map.

But yes, an airport-turned-into-bandit base would be sweet. As long as the runways aren't full of tents...

For the Environment as a whole, I hope they bring back the real Apocolytica feel of Fallout 3. New Vegas was barely touched by radiation. You felt as though a single Mini Nuke had gone off. Whereas F3, you actually felt like it was after a massive war.

Definitely an Oasis styled area, as a contrast. Have more variety in terms of interior, like, so every corridor doesn't look the same, as it has in previous games.
