What would you change about Hardcore Mode - Page 2

I absolutely loved hardcore mode... but if it returns they should nerf Rad Child in hardcore mode, it made stimpacks obsolete regardless of game mode... I could take bullets to the face without even flinching.

Also, the item "atomic cocktail" should be nerfed in hardcore mode as well... it made actually sleeping unnecessary.

In my opinion they should make hardcore mode as realistic as possible.

2 broken legs mean you have to crawl (literally) or walk ALOT slower than a normal walk.

Fast travel but nerf it so you can only travel like 3 times per 24 hours.

Make dying alot easier nobody can take 2 shotgun slugs to the head hell nobody could take one shotgun slug to the chest we are talking like a .70 caliber lead bullet (if it is a 12 gauge).

Make killing things alot easier aswell.

Drinking/sleeping/food is a complete necessity.

Maybe have like an insanity gauge nobody can decapitate somebody and have no remorse at all unless you are a psychopath or defending your life.

Actually having to change batteries in the pipboy as mentioned before would be a neat idea, and maybe have like some solar panels (little ones) that would charge the pipboy during the day and then batteries would need to be changed if it died overnight.But make them extremely expensive and have drawbacks.

No "wait" option so you cant just stand at the entrance of a shop for 8 hours waiting on it to open.

Have a list of mutations that could happen to you depending on how much time you spend in radiation also make some of them bad and some of them beneficial,also make one of the mutations ghoulification if you spend an extended amount of time in radiation.

I mentioned it in another trend but what about more options?

By that I mean you can pick and mix whatever sort of style you like. So if I want stimpacks to stay the same as normal mode but wanted to have no fast travel I could toggle those options under a Hardcore menu.

Means everyone here could get what they want and it wouldn't affect anyone who wants one thing but not another.

You mean like I just said in the previous post?

It would be good that. Would let you pick and choose between which skills you feel are just more of a nuisance rather than adding depth.
