Introduction of the new companion. “The Doctor is going to meet someone very new in the very last place he could ever have expected…”
70?.Untitled
Written by Mark Gatiss
Gatiss confirmed he pitched the story idea to Steven Moffat late 2011. He revealed his episode contains the words ‘meat’, ‘klaxon’ and ‘Vienna’.
711.

A removed Wikipedia edit claimed the story was called The Hider in the House, but as the site can be edited by anyone, it is not exactly the most trustworthy source. The story appears to be a historical, possibly Victorian-era. The Doctor has a wardrobe change, wearing a brown jacket with waistcoat underneath. According to the Daily Mail, Dougray Scott will be guest starring.
River only shows up in one episode? I AM DISAPPOINT, GUISE.
Mostly, for this coming series I'm wondering about how the departure of Amy and Rory will be handled. I really wouldn't like to see either of them get killed off, but if one does I suspect it may be Rory. Moffat saying that he means it this time that not everyone gets out alive makes me wonder if this'll be the time Rory dies and doesn't get mysteriously revived.
Of course, no matter what happens I'll be sure to bring my box of tissues.
I think I'm going to miss the Eleventh Doctor's original clothing and I'll probably be thinking bad things about Amy and Rory's ultimate fate when their final episode comes. Nice to see UNIT back.
Also I believe it's now safe to say Episode one is set to be called Asylum of the Daleks.
Asylum of the Daleks actually looks pretty good, I can't wait to see what they do with it. Episode two looks like a Solomon-based episode, so I'm also really looking forward to that. I don't know how many of you guys know about biblical mythology and stuff, but he was actually pretty cool, supposedly knew everything.
And glad River Song isn't back. She was great Season 6, but got a bit old. We need a break.

Not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but I think some of the things here imply that Rory might die. Someone dying is already strongly hinted to, and "Big Rory Spoilers" in the filming reports.

Yeah, I've been getting suspicions about Rory's possible death for a while now. But please don't make that true, DW crew, I don't like being able to figure out plot twists ahead of time
Also I've been reading that there will be not one but two Mark Gatiss episodes, one of which will feature the lesbians Jenny and Madame Vastra and the Sontaron Strax and real life mother and daughter Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling.
Ah yes, "the lesbians." Madame Vastra was cool, and we might get to see Jack the Ripper? Vastra killed him just before she was recruited in A Good Man Goes To War, where she calls The Doctor "old friend." Some backstory here would be interesting. This could happen in the weeping angels ep perhaps?
Also, are the "robots" cybermen? I really hope not...
The Dalek episode is going to be amazing. I loved Victory Of The Daleks. Seeing how 11 interacts with them, and Matt Smith's interpretation of their history and how it makes The Doctor feel to encounter them will be something to see. Remember Daleks in Manhattan? 10 let Caan escape, and he was able to bring about a complete Dalek empire. Imagine what the better-than-ever Daleks have done. "Biggest set ever" as well. Hoo boy!
