I've beaten him, he is. There really isn't any strategy, but I have some tips. Before starting city trial, set the number of players to 2, and level the cpu down to 1. Look for the mic power. It has a large attack range. Also, look for the auto-spin thing, the sword, stuff like that. This is hard because of time, so go as quickly as possible.

Another trick is to do this:
When you use the sword, don't forget to swipe him ABOUT 3 times before he hits you with the sludge hammer! Or you will loose energy fast. (It depends what ship you use) I also practice in the arena until i got better. Now, I can beat him ALL THE TIME! =)

yes it is possible i did it using swerve star and bombs,swords,and mics. swerve star because you can stop yourself before you pull in front of him.

i've never defeated him but i can use him in free roam. i just used the free marker.

Just use plasma, and try to be a control stick freak (Moving left and right as fast as you can to charge). It works wonders in the SNES game Kirby Super Star, and still remains to do wonders against King Dedede in Kirby's Air ride.

I used a Wheelie scooter with 13 offense ^'s and I used sword, plasma, and auto spins as my main attacks.

With no cheats or anything i defeated him in 26 seconds , i kept using spikes and MICS......... It is verry possible.........

ya he is but its better if you have 4 human players so you dont attack eachother.
