What do you want from X and Y for the battling Metagame?

Since X and Y will bring a load of new Pokemon and probably a load of new items, what do you want to see that affects the meta?

I want a new Drought Pokemon for better Drought teams, hopefully with a secondary typing which make Water/Rock/Ground types neutral hitting. Ninetails is really frail, and has such a limited movepool, and falls to the typings of Tyranitar an' Politoad. A new Droughter will help Sun weather teams compete as well as Sandstorm and Rain, especially if it has a second type resistant to Politoad and Tyranitar so the two other Weather-bringers don't massacre it.

Also, a new broken OP type to screw everything over.

I hope to attempt getting into it, but I'm not knowledgable about EVs or IVs at all, so I fear getting started...if anyone has advice, I'd appreciate it!!

More viable Cloud Nine Pokemon, so we can slowly escape the weather-filled metagame.



And priority Bug-type attacks.

The complete and utter nerfing of perma weather beyond any recognition.
Although do give Ice types a 50% Defense Boost in Hail.
A heavy nerf to Stealth Rock. Damage lowered, ways to remove it outside Rapid Spin.
Several different typed clones of(the nerfed version) Stealth Rock that can NOT stack.
Completely redo the type chat to make it more balanced.

Lack of massive level gaps! After I finished the whole Elite 4/main story of BW and tried to embark on the trip to the rest of the towns suddenly my pokemon were like 20 levels behind the trainers along that route >>

And yeah, I know that's not battling metagame, but it's something I really wanted to complain about! ><

Eiche, yeah Stealth Rock does 1/8th for neutral damage. If you're using a Fire, Flying, or Bug type, then it's 1/4th, and if it's a combination of any of those 3, then it's a massive 1/2 of HP.

Seriously *bleep* SR and *bleep* Roark for letting it be known.

Also both nerf and balance weather. Pretty much the only Pokemon who get abilities that have to do with rain are water types, meaning that they not only get the benefit of the ability, but also their are boosted by both the rain and STAB. Meanwhile grass types are in the sun and Stoutland is playing in the sand.

Also there's hail somewhere.

Stall to become a viable a top percentile strategy again, stupid over-powered Pokemon everywhere.

The best thing they can do is just not offer online battles for gen 6. Slight joke of course but gen 5 was absolutely trash. I don't really believe they can fix it. Gen 4 was just so beautiful with the metagame.
