  Well for this round, you were to retype a pokemon to a type that it's super effective on it. Not much to say, it's pretty straight forward. :3 quote FeerTeHRandoM~ [ C+ ] ~ This sprite is obviously arcanine and it's obviously also of the water type. You did good on that. However, most of the flaws in the sprite have to do with the use of shading. The shading on the tail is screaming Diamond and Pearl, which doesn't match the current shading rules established in Black and White. The shading on the back/leg also really confuses me. It's kind of like anti pillowshaded. :/ Another problem I find in the sprite is the choppy outline that appears on the left side and on the head fluff. Also on the outline, there isn't really any colored outline. It's almost all black. quote glorymajor~ [ B ] ~ This is some very nice scratch work. The outline looks very professional and I really believe that you have a lot of potential. Like Feertehrandom though, there are a few problems with the shading. First of all, on the blackish blue parts, there are random gray lines that don't need to be there. If they were meant to be highlights, they are too dark and too different of a color than the blackish blue, and if it was a type of shading, then you really don't need it. While I'm on the topic of the black-blue, it's really really dark. It's so dark that you can't see any details or shading on it when zoomed out. Lighten up the color a little bit and it will look a lot better. (the red doesn't need to be "lighter" but rather "brighter" if you know what I mean). The shading is generally pillow shaded on this sprite. Also, although shading the pokemon sprite in the style like you did on the base of the tail and crotch area (look at azumarill's shading and you'll probably know what I mean) is fine, you should probably make it like that throughout the entire sprite. quote Albatross~ [ B ] ~ You know, the more I look at this, the more I appreciate the little details you did. You could have just put boxing gloves on the thing, but you understood that changing the facial expression would really make it scream fighting. While the mistake is minor, the feet contain a colored outline that doesn't exist in the rest of the sprite. Also, the arm on the right looks kind of awkward. The way it is made just looks like an igglynub with a white circle glued to it. There isn't really that much room for error though. I can't really grade this on the same scale as something bigger because it's only like 30 pixels tall. It's by no means a bad sprite, but small mistakes on a small sprite are more of a big deal on a bigger sprite. :/ quote Aether~[ A- ] ~ Well, you definitely have the most creative entry. :3 This is a pretty solid sprite. The only real "problems" i can find with it are on the purple tux. It seems to be partially pillowshaded, and I'd like it to have a little more contrast between the two shades. The head could also have some more contrast with the shades. Now, if I were to nitpick, I'd say that since it's a dark type, I'd make it not look like a happy smile, but rather a creepy one, or make the eyes look mad. It's mostly a recolor, and since the green is such a aquatic looking green, it still comes off as a water type. The root thing looks like it's just plopped on to the bottom of the sprite. I would have liked a better transition between the brown and the green. Tribal fairy thing yayXD

Faedark wander through their forests after dusk, keeping an eye on any pesky humans that become lost, and occasionally stirring up a bit of mischief. A tribal Fairy based off of faeries, with a bit of a dark element. This was a fun one.
