Could go either way. In the anime, it's more of a fat kind of buff.
You can tell it's strong, but could afford to lose weight.

Down to Nintendo trying to make his name hip (or whatever the intention was) by removing the final vowel which did not fit, Feraligatr has been a thug. He has the crack hunch, smile, and 90s-cargopants-body-pockets. He'd be fat if he got clean.

Ah, reminds me of Gen1 when Dragonite (in the game, at least Blue's sprites) made Dragonite look like a Dopey Charizard. I miss being eight.

Oh and the name is feraligatr because they couldn't fit all the letters for its name there's a 10 character limit to pokemon names atleast back then there was.

Swampert is not fat. It just looks fat because of it's arms and lower body. Look at it's official art (Not it's sprites) and in the anime.

That second evolution looks like he is suffering. They aren't the worst designs I've seen so far but I'd rather not that, it kind of looks grass/steel.

i try not to predict the final evolutions. I am always disappointed, although this generation looks like its going to be a great one!

I didn't really like the fat/big froakie fan arts, but I really liked this one for some reason.
