which starter to pick

I'm leaning toward Fiercekin, my nickname for Fennekin, but if Chespin does wind up being Grass/Dark, I'll be forced to choose it. Luckily their are two versions and I can pick both!!

I've got to see the evolutions first but I'd say that Froakie is a good contender. Unless, of course, he ends up being a lighter colored Seismitoad.

In order of what I've picked since I was a kid:

R/B = Bulbasaur
G/S = Totodile
R/S = Treecko
D/P = Piplup
B/W = Oshawott

Based on that I'll be inclined to go with Chespin, I like his design and I feel he's going to be faster than the other 2 and probably more offensively built but hey that's just my meta game coming out of me haha I'll go with him or Froakie purely because I like frogs

Basically because my older brother picked fire types it made sense even as a kid to pick something different, then when my younger brother got Silver he liked fire types too so I went along with it again, I have used the fire starters in other times after my 1st run but I've always gone with the water or grass because Fire always seems too easy to beat gyms with and I preferred the challenge after a while

I suppose he was at the time, luckily we got Metal Claw in the remakes.

Froakie at the moment, although I always go for the Water-starter when they're first unveiled and then the evolutionary line tends to make me change my mind. >_> Fennekin looks too much like Zorua in all honesty and Chespin is Oshawott in drag,

Don't know who I'm going to pick yet. I'd like to see their evolutions before choosing my starter. Fennekin is rather cute, though.
