Here feel free to post why you think that the Suffering is better than all the other horror shooter games. Here are a few of my reasons:

-Your character isn't a weakling like in such games as: Clock Tower, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil.
-Controls are easy unlike many other horrors.
-100X more action and battle is much more fast paced than any other horror.
-The game style is different than other horrors and doesn't try to copy Resident Evil (like all the others).
-ENEMIES ARE ORIGINAL!!! TOO MANY GAMES HAVE ZOMBIES!!!
-You can choose your own path of good or evil... who said that choosing your alliance is only for RPG games?
-DOESN'T TAKE PLACE IN A $#@!#%@# MANSION!!! ALL OTHER GAME COMPANIES THAT MAKE HORRORS BETTER STOP COPYING RESIDENT EVIL AND SHOULD COME UP WITH THEIR OWN IDEAS!!! ... sorry had to get that out...

I didn't read your post but I have to say The Suffering is a great game. Also, Fourth Dimension thinks it is "mediocre" because he sucks and always dies.

When I played it my room was a dark blue and it was 2:00 AM and I was stoned and it creeped me out whenever a ghost of his children appeared out of nowhere especially the part when they appear in the water and walk away until they are completey submerged under water I have a fear of dolls so it creeped me out when that inferna in the little girl form drops one and they show a close up of it and the last thing that creeped me out was towards the end when those little girls are on the canyon and jump off. That's what I liked about it.

This was an 'OK' game - though it was more of a run 'N' gun rather than an actual Survivor/Horror. Don't get me wrong though...this game had it's ups. Graphics were decent, plot was good, location was great.

i think the suffering is a great game but its a shame it was banned.

I still think "Siren" was every bit as good as The Suffering, but for different reasons. But chances are you haven't heard of it yet, only came out in June. I suggest you try it out, it's a true survival thriller if I've ever seen one. I actually have this odd attraction to weak charcters, but that's just me.

But yes, I think this really 'is' a lot different from all the other horror games I've seen out there, and better than a lot of them, too. but it's still got its downsides.This IS a kick-ass game, though.

Because it is one of a few that can play with your mind driving you insane that's whey it is worse than any other horrer game.

The only thing that the game was missing is that Torque didnt talk much or at all...I think thats gonna change in Ties that Bind
