Cars was one of the initial properties shown to be included when Disney Infinity was initially announced, but here we have the full unveiling of the Play Set and characters that will be made available. Lightning McQueen and Mater from the original Cars, also Holley McShiftwell and Francesco Bernoulli from Cars 2 will be available as playable toys. Radiator Springs looks to be the location of the Play Set, and of course it'll be based around racing and stunts.

Quick recap on what Disney Infinity is. Play Sets let  players take characters into their respective franchise to play a miniature game experience, with each franchise offering something different. They can then take those characters to the Toy Box and create a sandbox experience of their own. How exactly content will transfer from Play Sets or characters into the Toy Box isn't exactly clear, but it's evident that some sort of racing was brought over.

Each of the four characters and then the individual Cars Play Set will be sold separately, according to the trailer below. Get a glimpse of each individual care toy in the screenshot gallery, along with how they'll look in-game in both the Play Set and the Toy Box. Again, Disney Infinity looks interesting conceptually, but it's hard to tell what sort of actual experience it will offer as a game in terms of scope and depth.
