I woud love this game to be made into a Movie thats how great the story is you fall in love with the Charactors like the way you do in a Movie this Game is Major Movie stuff i think this Game would sell better as a re-make of it as a Movie.

The game is pretty much a movie in itself. lol

Even if they did, something tells me I wouldn't like it as much as the game anyway.

No one can recreate the awesomeness that is Homunculus. At least, not in live action.

Side-note: Does anyone else find it interesting the the guy who voices him also voices Mario in most of the Super Mario Bros. games?

Charles Martinet did a lot of things. He is mostly known for his Mario character he still does today.

He did voices for the cat in the hat, He was in a film called "Nine Months" Iwatched. He was Arnie the dinosaur. It was hilarious. Knowing in that dinosaur costume was the guy who has done Homunculu voice is so amusing.

I've spoken to him before. He's such a friendly nice guy.

I dunno, I'm not sure I want to see SoD made into a movie... For one thing, there are very, very few video game movies that are any good. For another, there are several aspects of the game that just wouldn't translate well to the big screen-- some things are just better played than seen.

Though with today's special effects, I think a good likeness of Homunculus could be made.

OK, say they did make this into a movie, who do you think would best be cast in each character's part?

I think it's better to have this kind of movie with unknowns cast in the major characters' parts. If it has famous or known people, that might detract from the storyline itself.

That's assuming, of course, that the unknowns are experienced and talented enough to make a good movie. If that doesn't work, then of course I'd rather have someone famous yet talented in the roles. Nobody comes to mind, though, at least not right off the bat.

I could see Lee Williams (young, pale, brunette, beautiful, skinny model/actor from Wales) as Homunculus, other than the fact that he's really rather tall. ... OK, on second thought, maybe not. It's hard to see any normal human as Homunculus.

I agree with Yupki Yuja though, major names would just be too strange. For example, I can't watch any film with Keira Knightly in it without seeing Keira Knightley, as opposed to her actual character. so brand new, fresh faces for all the characters would be nice.
