I tried it, so did my mates and it didn't effect any of us at all.

TBH I felt myself getting heavier while I was watching the thing with the Giraffe!

My legs and back got heavier but it didn't stick me.

I wasn't even doing it properly, I was just lying on my bed and got up straight away. I had my dad on watch juts in case it did happen .

Man, it was weird. I didn't get stuck when the actual tape was played but me and my girlfriend did get stuck just before the break before they were ging to show a video.

Like when Derren Brown was talking to the camera before the break my eyes went kinda dreamy and dizzy. I body felt a bit weird and I tried to get up and I couldn't. I told my gf that I couldn't get up and she said 'shut up you're lying.' And then she tried to get up and couldn't.

It wore off during the break but the 'actual' hypnotism tape didn't work which we thought was odd but then one of the callers said the same thing happened to them.

That is most probably the part that makes you 'stick'. The video is used to relax you so you start to feel naturally 'heavier' as you relax into the sofa, and then when you feel like this Derren talks to you and adds the implication that this feeling is you being stuck. If you let it influence you then you believe this, and you become 'stuck'.
