Tbh I can really see Ferrari pulling out of the chapionship if this goes ahead; they clearly aren't happy with the ruling and I think they do have a valid point.

I don't think Ferrari will pull out personally: they're just bluffing so that they can at least get some leeway on the new rules.

I still think Ferrari are still in a relatively stong position with Red Bull, BMW and Renault all saying they will pull out too. As mentioned by someone before in this thread, the amount of money Ferrari brings to the sport is huge; through advertising etc, not to mentioned their joint heritage with the sport.

I would love to see some new teams on the grid, but not at the expense of some of the more well established teams. I don't think this is the end of it by a long shot; I think a compromise is very likely.

If any team will be in trouble I think it would be Toyota. You know how much they spend. Ferrari wouldnt be saying this if they'd won 4/5 races would they???

I think they would, even more so perhaps. Think about it like this: Ferrari spend a lot more than £40 million altogether and aren't winning this season. If they were spending 40 million and winning then it would give them even more cause for complaint.

Anyway, Button pole again tomorrow. I really do hope it's closer this week....

I've always said Jenson Button would win the championship if he was put in a decent car. My logic was he consistantly out performs Barrichello in the same car, and he was consistantly in the top 4 when he was in the Ferrari... Well some said my logic was flawed. It probably is. But I was right

Well this season is looking more and more Button's by the week; his driving today was flawless. Wasn't as much drama as I was expecting, but overall it was a tidy race.

Yeah this championship is beginning to look like a foregone conclusion. Ferrari look to be back on the pace, but it will remain to be seen whether its too little too late in terms of world championship challenges, and Red Bull have dropped off a little it seems.

Well done Jenson Button though, another great drive.
