Yes different countries have different planes, and among all, germany has the best planes if air tech reaches 30. Also in mission C8 (second round) you can get all kinds of super planes that differ from country to country. Planes do evolve when tech level raises.

I guess it would be a little bit challenging for me to list the names of all planes. You can find them by "other->log->equipment log". This game names the planes of the 4 countries differently from the names we are familiar with, such as F-14 and F-15, but indeed generate the 3-D objects based on real planes. I did find F-14 and F-15 when using USA though they are called I-88(?) and I-100.

Not to go off topic here,but I have a question.

I just bought P.T.O IV and I'am having trouble loading
the darn game,I did notice that the backing of the game
has a blue surface rather than the silver backing like
on Naval Ops.Now I had a gameshark that had the same kind
of backing and after some use it game me problems loading,
is it just me or is that game it self?

My PS2 is working just fine and I have no problems what so
ever loading my other game,but with P.T.O it does,do they
make this game with the silver backing or are all of these
games in blue

Well it's going to be awhile,yesterday I took the game
back to where I bought it to have it checked out.When
they tested on one of their PS2 systems it loaded right
up,but mine it wont.Even after cleaning it,it still
wouldn't load so they sent the game off to be resurfaced
and will be from 4 to 7 days before I get it.

So far despite some very frustrating times I have manged
to make into the final ten missions at Admrial ranking.
I think NOWG is still a very awesome game and allot of fun.
I'll be glad to do a comparison to both games once I get a
chance to play P.T.O IV,and just from what I have read in
the manual,it sounds just as good as NOWG,not as good,but
looks like allot of fun.

I used my elta wavegun or whatever it is. it took out 15 out of i think 25 i used on shot and won the mission pice of cake!

Idk if this has been answered or not but yes, the japanese have different planes hten say the Germans,Germans differnet from the US, Us different then the UK, etc...
