Well, I normally play it on normal mode if I'm actually playing the main game. Not that I suck, but rather I just like all the money I get in normal mode. Anyways, this morning before work, I started a pro mode run and I noticed something. It seems it's exactly the same as normal mode except plagas get exposed way more often and enemies take way too much damage away when they hit you. Other than that it's like playing normal mode. And no, I'm not using special weapons either.

Yeah, I've noticed that Pro mode seems way easier. It's not because I play Pro mode only but it just seems that way.

I always have difficulty with the button mashing sequences, like the boulder dash.....but im ok at the button pressing ones, like the krauser cutscene.

I always love the satisfaction of blowing some Ganados face when i shoot the dynamite thats just about to leave his hands....

I like using the handgun on them, though i want the SILENCER! It makes the gun cooler!
But then after the village they get helmets, which i never really paid attention to...

Wadayamean you like using the handgun on them, who doesn't use it on them???

The helmet guys scared me at first, then i realised all you had to do was shoot them in the leg and suplex them. It seems that a suplex kill is more likely on them than normal ones. Also suplex's seem to work better on a slope or stairs.

Yeah, the suplex is great. Pro mode to me seemed very similar as well. Exact same enemies and everything.

I just completed Pro Mode for the 3rd time without selling any of my treasure (spinels, velvet blues, etc) and after completing normal mode 9 times in a row I think normal mode is a lot easier, an awful lot easier

I had one file with 7 completed pro mode games but I sold all my treasure as soon as I got it

Aaah, pro mode is not too hard especially when you've got a replay game.

What i'm working on is the Pro No merchant challenge, i'm half way through normal mode but i stopped to play the other RE's, don't ask me why. I'm currently doing an RE3 handgun only run.

Pro mode is still pretty easy on a first round, because I'm doing one right now and it's easy. It really depends on experience.

Hey I Was Wondering If Someone Could Help A Professional Mode Noob Out.

I'm at the Mike area of the commando base. i have full health but no extra health items 20 handgun and the 5 striker shells you pick up there i can kill the first gunner i encounter but will probably have lost some health by time i get to the 3 gunner room i have the grenande and ammo in my guns (previously mentioned) i get up the ladder of the gunner in the upper right and kill whoever gets there. now i cannot seem to get the switches hit and outta there without dieing. any help plz? or another question [b][/b]why doesnt mike do his damn job he just flys around like a blind man.....

Tips:

-Practice the first part so that you can get through it without getting hurt (or with minimum damage).
-For the switches, run through the tunnel on the left, up the ladder and go to the hut. Hide behind it and hold your ground, when mike says "Hey get outta the way!" then run back to the tunnel and when he blows the hut up, head to the other one and repeat the process. Then hit the switches.
-If the 3rd machine gun guy is giving you a hard time, get as near him as you can while still behind cover. When he stops firing, quickly go around him and unload whatever you have on him.
-If you have too many ganados on you at once, go to the tunnel and position yourself behind the ladder, that way ganados will jump down in front of you.
-If the archers are giving you a hard time, get a rifle and plug them. Fight fire with fire.

Then i guess you'll have to take out all the machine gun guys yourself, just use the strategy. Otherwise, your screwed, hate to say it but you are.
