I've heard in this forum that RE4 isn't a survival horror game and that it could be better. Well who would you rather face? A Zombie with his mouth wide open or a Ganado holding a axe?

A Ganado. At least they have the sense to know how to open doors, run after you, and use weapons.

I would rather face a zombie, you can always run round it, coz its slow.

As much as I miss fighting zombies I still prefer facing a Ganado. I like a challenge and plus it makes the game interesting. they're obviously faster and smarter than a zombie plus they throw stuff at you lol.

I used to get pretty annoyed by those thrown axes etc..lol...especially when reloading lol...

Ganado, hands down. I mean, killing zombies is fun like "woohoo! I just killed a hundred of you and am still alive with all my health!", but when you kill a hoard of ganado you feel victorious cause they actually fought back..throw stuff at you, try to blow you up, they can run and CHASE YOU!!!! XD

well... Ganado, at least they can fight back, unlike zombies that lunge at you, miss, and come back again trying to bite you.

Then i would chose a ganado for all of the reasons already said, plus the fact you can shoot them anywhere you want, leg, face, arm, chest, ....private parts....hehe.

For me ganados are quite challenging, so I prefer ganados more than zombies. But, sometimes ganados can be quite annoying especially when they come in crowd because, you can once in a while get stuck between them & you can waste most of your ammos due to panic or frenzy attacks...!!! . I hate those crowded ganados.

i said that coz i thought it meant in real life.

And anyway, even if its supposed to be in real life, a zombie is worse, coz ganados are clever, faster and can throw weapons.

I'd rather go up against a ganado. Zombies are just plain creepy and I most likely wouldn't be able to function right if I was up against one.

On a side note, I have to say Capcom did a great job on the AI in RE4. It still amazes me how smart they made the enemies. I love how they work together to try and surround you. Also they are WAY too accurate with the axes and crossbows.

Ganados are a swarm type of enemy, with many variations, there should be a sequel with the same kind of enemies.

I think re5 enemies are cleverer, faster, and more weapons to throw.

And from the trailer it looks like there will be way more of them at one place.

In real life, I'd rather face a zombie, because they're slower and less intelligent.
In game life, ganados are definitely more interesting, more of a challenge, and give you a bigger sense of satisfaction when you slap their sorry asses down. XD

Is it too much to ask for both?

Personally I think it would be an awesome idea to put both of them together.
