You may recall Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory being that Japanese RPG about young anime girls personifying video game consoles. You may say, "Dang, that's extremely niche and nerdy," and you know what? The developers and the fanbase are okay with that. In fact, they embrace it. There's really no other way to introduce this new trailer on Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory's CPU form combination attacks, EXE drive feature and Dimensional Skills. Embrace it!
Yes, Neptunia is super JRPG, but it's also good at what it does. As shown in the trailer, whatever misgiving you may have with its style and personality, there's a feature-rich and deep turn-based combat system here. It's nothing extremely complex, despite the rather unnecessarily inane names for everything. In practice though, everything works rather simply and intuitively.
Check out Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory when it launches on March 21 for the PlayStation 3. Keep in mind there's a brief delay from its original March 12 release date, though you may still see occasional advertising saying otherwise. The title will still be launching on March 15 in Europe (though on the 21 in the UK) and on the 16 in Australia.
