A Real Star Wars GBA Game?

This is finally sounding like a true Star Wars game for a portable console. In the past we've had the laughably poor Attack of the Clones and Jedi Power Battles (not sure what The New Droid Army was like, but i'm pretty sure it was more of the same). But finally we get a real SW game. Based on a real Star Wars ship, with real SW locations (Yavin and Endor are confirmed), and by the sounds of it it will try to mimic 3D, so it sounds sorta like a tiny Rogue Squadron. And if it's anything like that, SW: FotF will be magic.

The graphics are using a new Advance Technology, the best so far on the GBA. The utilizes fully mapped objects with 256 colour texture maps, so far 3D games on GBA have only used very low colour, low res textures and has very little 3D details.

This game has a lot of details in the levels, don't be fooled by the simple space levels. When you see the land based levels you will be impressed. The Mos Eisley levels are really detailed with buildings and people. Endor has lots of trees and AT-ST's.

Overall I think you will be impressed and this is a real treat for Star Wars fans, as it captures the look and feel of the films.

Well, if you were hoping that when you used the game on a GB player, the graphics would be as good as Rebel Strike's, you were bound to be disappointed.

At lest FOTF has no on-foot crappiness to hinder it, like RS did though.

No secret levels, rom space very tight. It does have a secret bonus game, and lot's of easter eggs.

hey dudes, i'm new here, actually, it's my first time on a game forum, i mostly spend my time at guitar forums, but i cant ignore my other passion, games!

man i hope this game rules, its already out and i havent found a single official review of it, im not taking any chances, altho i trust darthtardie that its good.

First off, I am really enjoying the game, though the password system is somewhat annoying. The graphics and gameplay are quite good, especially the asteroid belt mission.

One problem I am having, is that when using passwords, I cannot change the control reversal in the Oprtions menu (I much prefer the joystick-style setup). If I change it before entering the password, the option has no effect. Any ideas?

By the way, are there passwords built in for accessing the individual missions, or only for the start of the three movie sections? Would be nice to gradually get a few more unlock codes, since progress cannot be saved.
