story of my season The Blues Rise Again... |2048 Start|

Its a lazy Sunday, 28th June 2048 as i sit at my desk. I was still in shock how did Birmingham manage to lose the Playoff final. Half time and it was Fleetwood 0 - 0 Birmingham with an extra player after Harrad got sent off for Fleetwood and i was thinking they can do it. Pretty much from the kick off everything went wrong for them with Jordie Lane(46) grabbing the opener. Birmingham managed to pull it level through Rossiter(63) but 2 goals in the last 15minutes through McCartan(76) and Rowley(89) secured the Playoff Final Victory for Fleetwood in a 3 - 1 win over Birmingham.

I get a call and i knew it, Birmingham have sacked their manager and i knew i had to go for it. I got the call and after speaking to the chairman for a while getting information about the club, the finances i knew it, it would be a tough one more then £7.5million in debt and more then £2,500 over the weekly wage cap.

I decided to accept the job offer and i have been given the mission of finishing in the Top half and have been given £10,000 a week in wages with no transfer budget. Players will be forced to leave as the club is running in the red with more then £2,500 over the wage budget. I will be looking at who i can get rid of and then bring in 4 or 5 loanees to fill the void of the players that have gone

They dropped out of the Football League in the 2027/2028 season and they have failed to get back into the Football League. They spent 9 seasons in the Blue Square Premier before dropping down for a few seasons and then coming back up. They have been in the Blue Square North for what will be their 3rd season.

So it begins now, I know players must leave my first priority will be to reduce or even better remove the £2,500 overpayment in the weekly wages. I will have to have a good look at the players, i know 11 players in the first team and reserve team squad will run out of contract come the end of July

July 1st. Knowing that 8 players will be leaving the club in July means that i can not just yet bring in any players, as i will have to wait and see exactly who leaves and see where we need players and where we will be weak. In the mean time i have had a look at the league.

The team finished 3rd last season, and just missed out on promotion however this season i dont think it will be the same, so many players leaving and i think running at a loss for so long as damaged the finances so i will be working with as tight a budget as i can.

FC United of Manchester finished in 4th last season so i suspect them to be a tough team with Accrington and Morecambe not that far behind. Some former big teams along with Birmingham who have fallen on hard times. Preston, Leicester and Tranmere could very well pose a tough challenge as well as Boston Kidderminster and Scunthorpe whom all got relegated from the Blue Square Premier League so they could pose a tough challenge as well wanting to go right back up.

I will try and find it, its not my save. Its one i discovered on Facebook. I was getting a bit bored of my normal save and doing one in the future sounded interesting as its far to easy at the start when you know who all the best players are.

Here you have to really search and everything. Though some interesting facts: In Spain NO club has broken up the Barca and Madrid top 2 domination, Spurs! have WON the Premier League, United have won 10 Champions Leagues and 25 Prem titles as well. Even better Liverpool have continued to suck hahaha

Thats the save, I went on holiday til the start of the 2048/2049 season, the save starts in October. It has England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland loaded. If you want more i would suggest to load them up as soon as the game is loaded and then holiday until the following season

Birmingham City have today confirmed the signings of Gareth Adam and Simon Mead on loan until the end of the season. The youngsters have joined from League 1 sides Huddersfield Town and Ipswich Town respectively.


Adam spent time on loan at fellow Blue Square North side Worksop last season scoring 6 goals in 14 appearances for the team. Adam plays primarily as a Striker but can also play in Attack Midfield Left position which will help the team.


Mead again spent time in the Blue Square North last season having spent time on loan at Scunthorpe scoring 3 goals in 11 matches. Mead will primarily play in Attack Midfield Left position hut can also play upfront and in a Defensive Midfield position which again will help if players get injured.

The out of contract players have now left the club. I have £3,400 a week to spare on wages. So now i will start my search for full time players as well as looking for some more loan players as well

Ash Kellaway got his tenure as Birmingham City manager under way with 3 goals and all 3 points as Birmingham City beat Whitby 3 - 1 with a double debut goal celebration on the Opening Day of the Blue Square North season. Nathan Collier got the scoring under way with the opener on 9minutes Birmingham City after he thunders home a volley from a Mead cross.

Mead then turned goal scorer to make it 2 - 0 on 21minutes after some fine play in the middle led to a Gavin Heald long cross to Mead on the wing. Mead then picked up the ball just outside the box and ran with it into the box before slotting home to score on his debut to add to his assist.

The 2 goal lead wasnt to last as 7minutes later Whitby pulled a goal back from the spot, though their was some doubts to if it was a penalty at all. That didnt stop Thomas Molloy from slotting the ball home to reduce the deficit. Just before the break Whitby had the ball in the net again but this time it chalked off for offside as Birmingham City went in at the break holding a slim lead.

The second half was give and take with both sides vying for control and an all important goal. That goal came on 82minutes through another loanee and another debut goal as Gareth Adam made the points secure after a huge collier throw caught Whitby defense napping Adam latched onto the ball and slotted it home for all three points.
