Interesting transfers there mate. Absolute bargain for Subotic. Although, you now have 4 highly rated defenders, so that might be hard to keep pleasing them. Bony £20m is alot, but could be a good gamble. I want to go back to the 4-4-2 I've been playing for years, but my assistant's always say that the midfield if being overun.
Have you got any money left? I usually get rid of Djourou and Gibbs too.
Whats your starting line up gonna be?

Arsenal 2-1 Wigan
First League games are always tough and this was no difference a pretty boring first half saw just one goal after Bony was taken down outside the box Walcott fired in the free kick. the second goal came in the 65th Minute again from a set piece this time Koscielny put the ball into the box which was cleared only as far as Chamberlain who put the ball into the path of Cazorla who smashed it in from just inside the box. Poor defending lead to there consolation goal as Watson was allowed to run from just past the half line into the box and fire it home.
Southampton 2-5 Arsenal
the game started Poorly when Subotic was sent off after just 9 minutes for a deliberate handball. things then went from bad to worse When Scheniderlin got onto the end of a Lallana cross and made it 1-0. They seemed to dominate most of the first half but Arsenal managed to get an equalizer 5 minutes from the break When Cazorla played it into Walcott who took one touch to Podolski who ran into the box and finished well. the second half saw arsenal start the brightest and soon found themselves ahead after Cazorla's corner ended in a goal mouth scramble the ball came to Walcott who calmly finished well. Cazorla then made it 3-1 from a free kick after Chamberlain was brought down just outside the box.The 4th goal also came from a set piece this time Gutierrez with the corner Walcott controlled the ball before smashing it in from close range.Southampton then pulled a goal back 10 minutes from time after Davis put a ball over the top of the defense Lambert controlled it before smashing it home. Walcott completed his hattrick in injury time after he was brought down in the box he smashed in the resulting penalty to make it 5-2.
Great to make it two wins from the first two games have drawn Newcastle Away in the Carling cup Whilst my champions league group will consist of Schalke Ajax and Zilina the league sees me play two home games against Sunderland and Everton during next month before away games to Swansea and Chelsea.

Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland
Arsenal went into this Monday night game knowing a win would see them go top of the league before the international break. It wasn't long before they were ahead Walcott got brought down in the box and Arteta took the penalty and finished calmly. It was then 2-0 almost straight after Arteta cleared from a Sunderland corner to Walcott who was given time on the ball to run from almost the half way line before finishing well. Sunderland pulled a goal back on the hour mark Johnson played a free kick into Mangane who shot into the back of the net. Not long after they found themselves down to 10 men after Lee Catermole was given a second yellow. Arsenal then put the game beyond doubt When Walcott was quickest to react after Mignolet fumbled a Podolski shot and tapped it into an empty net.
Arsenal 1-0 Everton
Tbh this game was fairly poor and created little talking points the only one from the first half when Giroud was left one on one with the keeper but ended up smashing it straight him. The winner did come but very late Coquelin played the ball into Walcott who beat his defender and slotted it home.
Arsenal 4-0 Zilina
Holmes first champions league game was against Slovakian side Zilina. It wasn't long before the home side were ahead The goal came after a Podolski corner was cleared only as far as Gnarby who put the ball back into the box to Koscielny who tapped it in. The same two players then combined for the second goal this time from a free kick Gnarby wiped it in and it seemed to confuse everyone as Koscielny was just aloud to knock it into an empty net. There was a bit of fortune in the third goal, Akpom knocked it out wide to Jenkinson and he went for the return ball but it came off Piacek and into the net. The 4th and final goal came 20 minutes from time Gnarby played the ball through to Bony and he finished well out of the keepers reach into the bottom left corner.
Chelsea 1-0 Arsenal
A disappointing game for the second league game in a row we created very little. We did however end up with the ball in the back of the net after less than a minute Chamberlain crossing and Gutierrez with the finish unfortuantly Bony was deemed to take the keeper out and it was disallowed. Chelsea then got an early goal Ba playing the ball through to Hazard and the Belgium finished with ease.
Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal
Holmes decided to name a young team for the league cup game and it seemed to be a risk to far as after 16 minutes his arsenal team found themselves 1-0 down. The goal came from a mistake by Gibbs as his clearance went straight to Cabaye who passed it through to Vuckic who knocked it into Cisse who finished fairly easily. Both teams continued to create chances and Arsenal found themselves level after 86 minutes Ramsey put the ball out to Walcott who cut inside passed a couple of defenders rounded the keeper and knocked it into an empty net. Extra time came and after Picking up a yellow card just before the full time whistle Subotic then made another couple of fouls and was given a Red card his second in only his third start for the club. Despite being down to 10 men Arsenal were the team to find the winner the goal came after Gnarby played the ball into the middle to Chamberlain who then who placed it to Walcott who was given plenty of time to finish well.
Swansea 2-2 Arsenal
This game couldn't of got off to a worse start as Arsenal found themselves 1-0 down after 4 minutes De Guzman with the corner and Williams headed it in. Arsenal soon found themselves level though as Bony played the ball to Giroud who shot it past the keeper Davis tried to clear it but ended up just helping it in to the net. Poor defending lead to them getting back in front as Shechter played it into Dyer who was left one on one with the keeper and finished well. Arsenal pushed for an equalizer and it came 20 minutes from time Bony whipped a ball across the 6 yard box and Podolski finished well.
currently sat 4th in the league which is a decent league position for this stage of the season also glad to get through to the next round in the cup were i will play Barnsley away hoping we can start getting a few more league goal scorers as are 13 league goals have come from just 4 players(and an own goal.)

Schalke 2-3 Arsenal
Holmes got his first trip in Europe travelling to Germany to take on Schalke. They got of to the perfect start as Cork passed it Through to Akpom who got a quick one two with Giroud before finishing this goal made him the Youngest ever Champions league goal scorer. The lead lasted less than a minute though as Jones played a long ball to Huntelaar who controlled it well before running into the box and smashing it home. Arsenal re took the lead shortly after as the same three players combined Akpom played a short pass to Cork who put the ball into Giroud to finish with ease. Shalke managed to get level just before half time Sagna cleared a Bastos shot Straight to Farfan and he couldn't miss from 8 yards out. Man City 1-2 Arsenal
A trip to the premier league champions is never gunna be easy but this was an impressive comeback for Holmes Gunners. City got the first goal early on when Kompany got on the end of a Ben Arfa corner. Arsenal were level shortly after Giroud played it out to Gutierrez who whipped it back into the box for Walcott to finish.
Early on in the second half Arteta had a chance to put Arsenal ahead From the spot but it was saved by Hart shortly after Gutierrez had a Goal ruled out for offside. The winner finally did come when Sagna played the ball down the flank to Chamberlain who knocked it into the 6 yard box and Walcott got on the end of it with a diving header.
Arsenal 1-1 Villa
Villa went into this game having not won since the opening day. They hadn't lost either as this would end up being there 7th straight Draw. Arsenal took the lead early on when Walcott found Podolski on the wing who cut inside and finished well. Villa though found an equalizer Ireland whipped a free kick into the box and Vlaar headed it in. Arsenal dominated the game but Villa defense held strong as they got a lucky point.
Arsenal 3-1 Ajax
Ajax came to the Emirates as Holmes was looking to make it 3 wins out of 3. From the go they looked the most likely to win and took the lead early on when Cazorla scored from a 30 yard free kick. they then doubled there lead when Ramsey ran into the box but was tackled by Alderweireld unfortuantly for Ajax the ball fell for Akpom who knocked it into an empty net. A defensive error from Subotic lead to Ajax getting back into it as he tried to head it out it fell for Babel who on the second attempt gave Ajax a lifeline. Late on Substitute Giroud was sent of for seemingly elbowing Alderweireld and was later given a 3 game ban meaning he would miss the rest of the group stage. Despite playing with 10 men arsenal managed to seal the victory when Walcott Crossed it into an Unmarked Cazorla to volley in.
Arsenal 3-0 Norwich
Arsenal spent most of the first half wondering why they hadn't scored as they completely dominated the game. The lead did finally came in first half injury time when Chamberlain played it through to Gutierrez who finished and there was no doubt about this goal after his previous two goals for the club had been ruled out. Arsenal then doubled the lead in the second half when Podolski scored from the spot. The game was put beyond doubt late on when Walcott played the ball across to Giroud who had an easy finish.
Barnsley 0-2 Arsenal
A goal in both halves from Bony was enough to put arsenal into the quarter final of the league cup. The first came after just ten minutes Ramsey played the ball through to Bony and he smashed it in from just inside the box. the second came late on Cazorla played it up to Bony and with a bit of luck found himself one on one with the keeper and he finished well.
So sat in a fairly comfortable position in third place in the league table next month sees us Travel to Reading and Fulham before West Ham and QPR come to the emirates also have two champions league games a draw at Ajax would mean i would travel to Zilina already Qualified. Next month will also see the first north London derby as we host Spurs in the League cup quarter final.

A very tough afternoon for Holmes men as they lost only there second league game. Fulham took the lead early on when Ruiz played the ball across the box and Berbatov knocked it in. Berbatov then become provider as he passed it to Dejagah who shot seemed to Fool Szcezney who just stood there as it went in. Giroud pulled a goal back just before half time When Giroud headed in a Walcott cross. It was then a frustrating second half as Walcott Arteta Cazorla and Bony all missed clear cut chances as arsenal pushed for an equalizer.
Arsenal 4-0 West Ham
Holmes men bounced straight back in amazing fashion with there biggest win so far this season. Arsenal took the lead after 20 minutes when a Gutierrez shot bounced off the post and caught Jaaskelainen on the back of the head and went in.Gutierrez was then involved in the second as he played it through to Walcott who squared it Bony to tap in. Arsenal 0-2 Spurs
Arsenal youngsters had one challenge too far as two first half goals saw Tottenham win the first north London derby of the season. the first came when Adebayor played the ball into Sosa and he drove it in from close range. The lead was then doubled when Adebayor bundled in a Bale cross. Holmes afterwards said he is happy with the way the boys played in the tournament but also stated that he feels for the fans after lossing in a derby.
2 league wins in 3 and qualification for the knockout stage in the champions league is nether bad disappointed to be out of the cup but it was my least important priority next month sees us play 7 league games with Away trips to Liverpool Man u Newcastle and Stoke and home games to Spurs West Brom and Southampton. also have my final game of the champions league which will probably be used for the youngsters as we have already won the group.

One goal was enough as arsenal started a tough month with a fantastic away win. The goal came 10 minutes before half time when Giroud headed in a Arteta corner.

Holmes decided to make 10 changes for there final champions league game. Schalke took the lead early on when Huntelaar headed in an Afellay free kick. Arsenal confirmed the victory late on Gutierrez played it to Rosicky who beat the offside trap before running into the box and shooting into the bottom right corner out of the keepers reach.
Man U 0-0 Arsenal
A game that showed how even the two sides are as neither could break down the other team. United were slightly better and did come closer in the first half when Giggs hit the post.
Newcastle 1-1 Arsenal
Newcastle went into this game having not lost since Martinez took over and it looked to stay that way from the off. The home side finally took the lead just before half time When Sissoko played the ball through to Cisse who chipped it past the oncoming keeper. Unfortuantly for Newcastle they couldn't hang on as 13 minutes from time Ramsey played a ball across the 6 yard box that was tapped in from Podolski.
Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham
After defeat in the first North London derby Arsenal were hoping for revenge. The game started well When Vertonghen lost the ball to Podolski who tapped it into the path of Giroud to finish. Spurs leveled late on though when a Vermaelen header fell to Toivonen who shot into an empty net.

The game was put beyond doubt when Podolski played the ball to Bony who slotted it past the keeper. West Brom got a late consolation goal When Long played the ball through to Brunt who had no trouble finishing.
Stoke 0-0 Arsenal
I don't know about a cold Tuesday night but Arsenal certainly couldn't cut it on a cold Wednesday afternoon at Stoke as they drew 0-0 for the second time this month. Both teams created very little although Stoke did have the ball in the back of the net but Walters Strike was Questionably ruled out for Offside.
Arsenal 4-0 Southampton
Arsenal ended the month Unbeaten and with a 4th clean sheet in 7 League games, Arsenal took the lead very early on Ramsey played the ball through to Podolski who ran into the box before firing home. A goal in either half by Gibbs put the game beyond doubt the first came when Walcott played the ball across the 6 yard box and He tapped it in from close range. His second came when Cork played it to him on the edge of the box and he smashed in a lovely finish. Bony completed the rout when he bundled in a Wilshire corner.

January transfer window
The only first team players to leave in January was Coquelin(loan) to Marseille and Fabianski 1.6 million to Chelsea.
Number 1 Andre Ayew 15.75 million
Ayew joins from French club Marseille. The Ghanain international was signed by Director of Football Pantaleo Corvino and will join his new team after the ACON
Number 2 Martin Olsson 4.4 million
Martin Olsson joined from Championship leaders Blackburn. Despite having a poor season so far Holmes saw enough potential in the Swedish international to bring him in.
Number 3 Ben Foster 7.5 million
Foster joins from fellow premier league team West Brom. The former england international will add experience to the keeper position and replace Fabianski who left.
Number 4 Luke McCarthy 2million (could rise to 10 with Clauses)
McCarthy joins from MLS club New York Red Bulls. Clearly a player for the future he has been sent on loan to Belgium club Leirse as he failed his work permit,
Number 5 Carlos Fierro
Fierro joins from Mexican club Chivas. Another one for the future Holmes is undecided whether to loan him out or let him play a bit part between now and the end of the season.
