	Log in to remove this advertisement Is there any specific strategy/tactic to getting a player a work permit, as every single player who seems to be based outside the EU that I want seems to fail them, I try and buy Nico Gaitan from Benfica who would really benafit my Southampton squad but the nonces who give out work permits decide not to give him one. Its not like Gaitan will blow up a rival stadium or something either, and it is really frustrating. The same happened with Erick Torres and some good regen I want from Argentina. general discussion ------------------- Leeds United: Marching on together! 	There are rules to getting a work permit. I am working off memory so the values may not be 100% correct, but it is something like the player must have played in at least 75% of their nations International matches during the last 2 years. The other way to get one is if you are marked as an "Exceptional Talent" and the only way I think this happens in game is if you pay a very high fee for a young player yet to represent his nation at senior level. The final way is by having a Belgian/Croatian feeder club where you can send the player on loan while he doesn't have a work permit. After 2 seasons in Croatia or 3 in Belgium he will gain EU nationality and no longer require a work permit.
