Tweety Pie, 17th at the moment, looking up rather than down. finally getting a squad together after an injury decimated season. no Keogh yet, but plenty of Jari Litmanen!

Started as Chesterfield last night, made a few signings to bulk up the squad a bit.

Lauri Dalla Valle - Loan

Had a mixed start;

Chesterfield 0-1 Derby - Carling Cup
Chesterfield 2-0 Plymouth
Torquay 2-2 Chesterfield
Chesterfield 1-3 Rotherham

Played so bad in the Rotherham game, only had 1 shot on target and that was the penalty we scored lol

Little bit annoyed. I took over Southampton at the start of the game and guided them to a 9th placed finish in our first season with attacking flowing football implemented with a young team. Just as we are about to hit January in the second season we're struggling a bit and are in 14th. We've got a young side but the way we've played was wasteful. We play excellent attacking football but never cause enough clear cut chances nor defend that well so I gave the tactics a bit of a shake up and saw some positive signs yet a loss to Spurs meant they've sacked me, without any warning. Sucks so much, I was building a really good young side there and I felt I was just about to turn it round.

So we're just about to hit January and Swansea who are 18th in the Premiership are looking for a new manager (Laudrup got sacked on the same day as me). I've applied and hopefully I can get the job. They still have a very strong team and tbh I'm surprised Laudrup had been sacked because they'd been playing well despite the results. Thankfully it won't be difficult to install my flowing attacking football mentality there.

If I do get the job my aim is to put a small stamp in the club in January (if funds are there) but for the rest of the season my goal is to try and get a secure finish so we can re-coup for the next season and move on from there.

Edit - Great, they hired Roy Keane as their manager...back to looking for other jobs.

Edit 2 - Okay, none of the jobs look that appealing to me so I'm gonna holiday until the end of the season and see if there are jobs available. It'd be cool to take a team that's just been relegated from the Premiership and revitalize them but we'll see whats on offer. I'll definitely take a job regardless of who it may be if it comes down to it.

So I holidayed until the end of the season and saw that QPR had finished 20th, thus being relegated and thus sacked their manager Mark Hughes. I took the job and man it's gonna be a tough job! They have some talented players but there is so much past it dross on massive wages where the finances are already insecure. It's gonna be a challenge but hopefully we can get promoted straight away and secure ourselves as a EPL team again, I'll keep you updated...

HOLY *bleep*ING SHIT WE ARE £918,000 OVER THE WAGE BUDGET!!

This is gonna be no fun and will be impossible to turn around, so I've resorted to my last save which is the moment before I took the QPR job, lets see what else is available. Likelihood is that I'll just keep holidaying until I can get get a job I'm happy with. I've set my holiday status to apply for Top Division jobs but I'll probably end up changing it to Higher Division soon.

Quickly restarted, changed the kits of a few teams as most wer eplaying in all-black, making text very diifficult to read. Chosen A.D. Guixols this time in the Tercera División Group A who at least have youth facilities, although I doubt they'll be being used. First, a little introduction about the team to let you lot (and me) get to know them a little better. Soon we will be the new Barcelona of Cataluna!

"We were founded in 1914 and are an amateur side in the Tercera División Group A. We're predicted a lowly 10th and have an estimated value of £55'000. We play at the Municipal Josep Sunyer in the city of Saint Feliú de Guixols and it holds 1600. We are incredibly basic with basic corporate facilities, basic training facilities, minimal youth facilities, minimal junior coaching and limited youth recruitment so not much to use. We are in an okay financial state and our chairman Emili Vilert loves the club. To watch the mighty Guixols will cost you £3 and a season ticket will set you back £26 so we are good value for money. We currently have 62 very loyal fans purchasing season tickets and have an affiliation with Primera División side Girona which I can hopefully exploit."

EDIT: Despite most of my team being Catalan I can't play games myself because we don't have enough players who have played in the country for long enough  Seriously sucks so it looks like I'm having to holiday through a season or 2.

ok well im wondering what people think i should do, shall i keep my young team and grow with them see how i can do or do i push for some big name players and 4get about my young Scandanavian players.

Proper pissed off that no good jobs have come available to me so I'm starting with the team I support, Leeds, in a hope to try and build them back up again (to where they belong obvs).

1st seasons gonna be tough, lots of good teams fighting it out for promotion and although we're not tipped to be up there I think we could make a decent charge into the play-offs. Transfers and all that shit to follow.
