Santry looks very nice, JohnRush, tidy player you have there!
In my San Marino save, La Fiorita have managed to stay in Europe for the longest period of time for any San Marinese club.
Spoiler:La Fiorita run in Europe
Fantastic stuff not only for La Fiorita themselves but San Marinese football on the whole. La Fiorita are now valued at around £1.2M thanks to that run.
Whatever is happening with my attendances is seriously screwing me up! I was selling out consistently last year and even got a stadium expansion in the works! Getting max attendances of 500! Instead of about £250k-£300k of gate receipts Im getting like £75k! So making like a £250k loss a month now!
Edit: Stadium expansion is complete and my next home game had an attendance of 5036.
Are you sure it's not because your stadium has had stands closed down due to health and safety. Have a look in your team information bit, you never now!
Like others, I've decided to start a new game, but with a twist. I'm going to holiday to christmas day and take over the team bottom in League 2 and see how far I can take them. Wish me luck!
Stick with it Stu, man! It'll be much more rewarding when you do manage to go up if you keep going!
dom_manU Great season so far, pucnhing above your weight for sure! keep it up!
Holidayed to Christmas day and found Crewe bottom fo League 1 and in serious trouble.
Spoiler:League 1 Table 25/12/12
Not really sure how they are so far down but it surprised me to see them there so I took the job in hope of aiming for safety, which will prove dificult as they're miles behind safety as it is. There transfers weren't too bad which again added to my surprise that they were doing so poor. Two promising youngsters from Everton and Wigan were brought in, Danny Redmond for £35K from Wigan and Jake Bidwell from Everton for £130K, both have so far been regular first team players so far. The club is over by £1.5K on wages though, which is something I will adjust straight away. First game is in just a day against Hartlepool!
Much better start Stu! Is that French player a regen or not? Any chance of an SS of him?
Just loading up my Crewe game where I took over at Xmas with them almost 30 points off safety. However, I've been given a HUGE £2.5M transfer kitty for January so I'm looking to at least put up a fight for survival!
Our first two games have been promising, a win and a draw with two penalties from Murphy and Leitch-Smith with the only non-spotkick goal. :L
With all this money, I don't have a clue who to get. Gunna look for players for the future who can still put in a good performance at this level I think.
Might just managed to stay up as Crewe, at Xmas when I joined it looked impossible as we were almost double our points behind safety.
Brought in Moses Lamidi, Litmanen, Ibehre, a new LB/RB, to help us stay up. Moses Lamidi is absolute class, cost me £220K from Frankfurt but he's a machine in League 1, his reactions and anticipations are second to none. Brace on his debut but then he gets injured for 3 weeks in the next game. Will post transfers up in a mo.
Both them players look ones for the future Stu, both on frees too so you can't go far wrong with them! Good start to the season too, although Cordoba are hardly really a team you can brag about beating, but they will probably be down there with you this season so three points against them at this stage is key! KIU.
How are Crewe in League 1? I put them there on a previous FM and they sucked, I struggled big time. I imagine SI have improved them a bit. Still got Clayton? If so, how's he faring?
Yeah, they still suck! When I took over at Christmas, they had 14 points, every other team had at least 30.. Been having good form lately, worthy of a top half position if this was the start of the season thanks to my transfers. Clayton looks like a great prospect for the future, his stats are even quite good now but his performances before I took over were 6.5 rated and they aren't much better now, tbh.
So as you can see, Crewe were in deep shit here. Only played 7 games, all in League, so far but here's how they went:
Hartlepool 1-1 CreweLuke Murphy PEN Crewe 2-1 PortsmouthAJ Leitch Smith & Luke Murphy PEN Crewe 3-0 MK DonsMoses Lamidi x2 & Byron Moore Notts County 3-1 CreweJari Litmanen Tranmere 1-1 CreweLuke Murphy Crewe 0-2 Bournemouth Crewe 1-0 ScunthorpeMark Ellis
The team were in a good shape, but the previous manager just didn't suit the job, don't know how he could do so bad with that team, to be honest. Anyway, this is how the table looks now near the bottom:
Crawley have very good form which doesn't help us. I just need one team to start slowing so we can get a bit of hope of catching up and hopefully, survive!
A Jabo Ibehre hattrick and a Luke Murphy brace has given us a 2-5 win over Bury which has boosted our chances of survival with just 9 matches left.. Going to go down to the wire.
Looking for a larger club game to go along with my Crewe save. Symbolic, would you recommend Newcastle? Would really like to start with them but want an active discussion with a few people.
Pro King; Yeah I really would man, you can easily add to the £7m you start with through sales, I recommend keeping Cissé, Cabaye and Coloccini though. Try and get Ba to agree a new deal too, so you don't lose him for £7m.
Just started now! Renewed Ba's contract straight away till 2015 so that's great. In the market for a DR and an AML though, Jonas will be back-up but Simpson just is not good enough for where I want us to go.
Pro King; Gino Peruzzi is a top young right back, Wellington Nem would be good enough for an AML, or put BA there and Wellington/Guidetti up front. I signed Guidetti on loan and he has 5 in 3 for me so far, and Cissé has 7 in 6. 3rd in the League currently, and just beat Braga 5-0 at home in my Europa League group.
Just started again because I fell asleep at my laptop last night and forgot to save it...apparentley. Wasn't far in anyway, bidded for Nem and in the process of selling some deadwood to fund moves for some fresh players. Will have a look at Peruzzi, cheers!
Started the first season with Newcastle. Got drawn with Dinamo Moscow in the Europa League qualifiers and we could only draw the first leg at home 1-1. We then lost to Swansea in the League 2-1 away and then drew to Norwich 1-1 at home, so not very happy with the form at the moment. Demba Ba has, however, scored in every competitive match so far. 3 in 3.
Great sounding season for yourself, well done mate! Might be hard for you to retain the title if you don't buy a bigger name I feel, Fellaini, Jelavic and Baines just don't sound big enough for a double winning Prem team! I'm trying to adopt the same idea as you with my Newcastle team though, with the biggest fee I've spent being on Nathan Dyer for just over £7M.
Had another loss after being put out to Dinamo Moscow and this got me worried...A little shake up for our next match against Southampton saw us win our first game of the season thanks to Dyer who is now my join top scorer in the League. I had my doubts whether he'd be good enough on the left but he's been great so far!
Thanks Pro King, I had a bid accepted for Falcao but he wanted 145k so that was a definite no and now he has just moved to Man City. Don't even want to think of what wages Hazard will want! I am thinking more along the line of strength in depth though, although I am looking into the possibility of M'Vila. Just signed my first player of the summer...John Guidetti for 14k. He will be playing 3rd string to Paloschi and Jelavic though. I have a 34m budget to spend though so I doubt there will be too many cheap signings like Guidetti. The positions I'm looking to strengthen are CM, AML, LB(Back up) and RB
Unlucky as well Pro King, I was tempted to go for Dyer before but I didn't think he would live up to the price tag
That's a nice budget! You could easily fund a move for WIlshere with money like that!
Form has picked up a little. Just beat Liverpool 3-2 AWAY from home with Ba scoring a brace and a Lucas O.G. Cisse hasn't scored all season and Ba is on fire, going to see if a 1 striker tactic works and if it does, I might cash in on Cisse in January.
Pro King I have tried Wilshere, 12.75m bid accepted but he don't want to move Does your reputation go up automatically once you have won something or do you need to wait for the start of the new season? Because I might hold off till 1st of July if it is the latter
Not sure when it is, but if he doesn't want to come now then he probably won't want to come in July! Rep never seems to work quickly enough for me, the player either wants to come or doesn't. Only expection to that is when players don't want to come when udner contract but then do when they have no club.
Inconsistancy in this game *bleep*ing sucks. Just lost 2-1 to bottom place WBA. *bleep* off.
I'm looking to get rid of Cisse if he can't start scoring, which could be a bad move seeing as he;s been good on most other people's saves.
Shandy I even booed our own team off. I was looking forward to a nice run in Europe this season. ¬__¬
dom_manU I'd play Rodriguez as a CM myself. In my opinion, CM's are much harder to come across than CB's and I feel that they are more important given that the FM game mechanics have CB's down as usless *bleep* all the time anyway!
Sitting 18th in the League at the moment with my Newcastle team after a 4-3 loss against Spurs. Got Chelsea next so I wouldn't be surprised if we were last after the Chelsea game. Just don't know where to go with my players. My tactic should be beating 90% of the teams I face easily..
Game is unplayable for me. Can't buy a *bleep*ing win when I have the squad, tactic and set-up ready to smash all teams. Really don't understand what the *bleep* is up with this FM. Jesus.. :L

Was your tactic working pre patch? Found my old one was pre patch, yet as soon as it updated it was useless. I'd suggest creating a new tactic and seeing how you go with that
Only just started this game, mate, so I don't think that is the problem. I just don't have a clue what to do to get up where we should be with our current squad, which is ideally, the top 7 or 8.
Latest match against QPR, one place below us ended in a scrappy, 1-0 win for us. :L
Symbolic, he's scored once in 9 games for me this season with an average rating of 6.44 and he's now injured for a month. His value has almost dropped below £10M.. :L
Awful start to the season and it's stil lnot really taken off how I'd have imagined but the form of late is pretty pleasing. Standout players so far have been Demba Ba who has been the shining light for us up front this season with 12 goals in 25 games in all comps. Victor Wanyama and Fabricio Coloccini have been very good at the back too, despite our fair share of poor results; they both have averages for the season of over 7.35. Ben Arfa and Tiote have been inspirational too with some good performances from them all, they have ratings of 7.22 and 7.17 respectively. Honourable mentions go out to Anita, Santon and Okazaki who all the other remaning players to have average ratings over the magic 7.00 mark this season. Cabaye and Cisse have both been quite poor really.
At least your not losing to many now after that start Pro King
Just finished my first season in the Finnish Second Division with KooTeePee and i just about survived relegation
Goals for next season concede less goals and finish higher

YOU JINXED ME! I lost my next game 3-4 to Swansea..
Were you expected to go down, Andy, even so, nice job on staying up! It looks like it could be tricky to get out of that league though, only one promotion place.
Into January and kicked it off with a 1-1 draw to Stoke, Okazaki scoring his 3rd in two games. Just played my FA Cup third round tie against Rotherham and beat them 5-2 at home, Okazaki getting four and Helenius getting the other. Okazaki has been on fire lately which is great timing as Ba and Cisse are off to the ACON in a week or two.
Shiniji Okazaki has really turned it up with some amazing performances as Cisse and Ba are at the ACOM. The Jap has 10 goals in just over a month for me.
EDIT
Ba comes back from ACON and we beat Chelsea 2-4, with a hattrick from Ba. May well sell Cisse at the end of the season, has done nothing for us this season.
Is there any way to see the record hat tricks in a season? Only 8 games into the pl and hernandez already has 4 hat tricks
I don't think they have a record for that so you'll never know, which kinda sucks. But surely with that type of form, Hernandez can aim for the most goals scored in one EPL season?
Almost at the end of what has been a poor season with my Newcastle side, will do a season review probably tomorrow sometime.
Season ended with Newcastle and in all honesty, I was glad it was over. It was such a painful season as we couldn't get any momentum going and we finished way below where we should've been at the end of the season. We wasn't able to bring in any class players either. Victor Wanyama came in for £7M + James Perch whilst the likes of Shinji Okazaki, Nathan Dyer, Wellington Nem and Nicklas Helenius also arrived before the start of the season. Going out were Sylvain Marveaux, Xisco, Danny Simpson and Ryan Taylor for a combined fee of £16.3M.
Spoiler:Results Part 1
Being knocked out of the Europa League at the first hurdle was a huge failure for us as a team and the form in the League wasn't good enough either, even if this saw us go ten games unbeaten into the new year. Demba was the standout performer for us upto Christmas but we knew that we had to replace him and Cisse with them going off to the ACON in January/February. The C1C was a poor performance too as we fielded a youth side as Wigan romped past us with experience. Ben Arfa and Cabaye had not performed as well as hoped and they almost found themselves being shipped away in January as both attracted attention from multiple top clubs. With the transfer window reopening we strengthen the squad without seling any players. Patrick Farkas joined to add a bit of competition for the right back spot with Vurnon Anita whilst Jose Callejon and Mario Suarez both came to Newcastle from Real Madrid and Atheltico Madrid on loan till the end of the season. The last signing of the transfer window was that of Robert Vittek who was signed to ease the worries of a striker crisis.
Spoiler:Results Part 2
The results in the second half of the season was no better than the first, infact, it was possibly worse. With Ba and Cisse away in Africa, Shinji Okazaki stepped up to the plate with some fantastic performances in Jan/Feb as he went on an insanse run of scoring. 7 goals in 3 games saw the Jap ease our worries and with that gave us improved form which included a 4-2 victory over Chelsea which marked the return of Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse from Africa. 4 goals in just 7 games saw us slip down the table but relegation was never really on the cards as we made 15th, 14th and 13th our own during the entire season. An okay end to the campaign has given us raised hopes for the coming season but that will rely entirely on whether players like Ba, Cisse, Tiote, Wanyama and Cabaye will keep their faith with us.
Spoiler:League Table
Key Players
Spoiler:Demba Ba
Demba Ba finished as our top scorer and there was no doubt form the first few games that he would be. Always the first name on the teamsheet when fit and it was agony not having him when he was in the ACON despite having Okazaki scoring for fun,
Spoiler:Fabricio Coloccini
Fab was just that in defence for us this season with a great average rating, although it does seem that defender ratings are broken to hell. However, Coloccini was our captain for the season and played great, his performances didn't warrant us to be so far down the table come the end of the season.
Spoiler:Victor Wanyama
Victor sure did earn the £7M + James Perch that we paid. The Kenyan chipped in with a few goals, assists and POTM a few times too. Preferred later on in the season to MC due to Steven Taylor's form at CB, it's clear this guy will have a bright future at the club.
Ended 1st season with a 7.46 average rating, and on a 7.49 this year.
Defender ratings are *bleep*ed on this game. Reading got relegated first season in my save yet their second choice DC still averaged a rating of 7.60.. :L
Suicide Messiah I've been seeing that happen all the time in my game. Whenever I send for a scout report for players who are already wanted by other clubs, they always get injured..
Looking good Stu, bring the League Cup home and you can think less about the getting into Europe through the League and relax a bit! Do Stoke actually have a decent team, or have FM just decided they will be the random team that finish in the top 7 this season?
Edit: NVM, lol.
Almost about to kick off my second season with Newcastle, here are my transfers, not including reserve/under 18's leaving on Loan/Free:
IN
Yossi Benayoun - Chelsea - Loan fee £9K p/m Guillaume Hoarau - Paris Saint-Germain - Free Alexander Milosevic - Atlanta - £2.7M Brad Jones - Liverpool - £210K Adam Smith - Tottenham - £625K Sokratis Papastathopoulos - Werder Bremen - £10.25M Dennis Aogo - Manchester United - £3.5M
OUT
Nathan Dyer - Stoke - £2.5M James Tavernier - Ipswich - £375K Rob Elliot - Huddersfield - £250K Steven Taylor - QPR - £6.75M Dan Gosling - Blackpool - £2.8M Gabriel Obertan - Marseille - £3.9M Shane Ferguson - Ipswich - £1.5M Roman Amalfitano - Middlesbrough - £550K Mike Williamson - Blackpool - £1.2M Shiniji Okazaki - Derby - £3M
Hoarau has been fantastic and playing Cisse and Ba in different roles has helped, although they aren't scoring but are getting plenty of assists and being involved in good link-up play. Hodgson is a striker from my academy who is going to be excellent once he hits 20 or so. Already looks fantastic at 16. ^__^
Nice start to the season! How much did you pay for Hoarau? SS of Hodgson please
Thanks mate! It's a nice surprise to actually have form for once as last season we were so inconsistent. Hoarau was a free signing after is contract at PSG ended. I can understand them not wanting to keep him with Ibra, Lavezzi and co. ..And here is Hodgson:
Spoiler:Peter Hodgson
Speaking of Hodgson and Hoarau, both just scored for me in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal! Top of the league now, first time in this save!
Wintr, Well, Hoarau's value is only at £1.9M at the moment, it has actually gone DOWN a little from a few weeks ago which is stupid. He's only 29 so it can't be because he's getting older and his stats are lowering because they aren't! Hodgson does look like a little Shearer now you've said it! He has more goals this season than Ba and Cisse put together so he's doing something right!
Things still going well for me in my Newcastle career. Had a couple of slip-ups but then we bounced back to beat Chelsea 3-1. Hoarau is an absolute gem, and should be in the French team with the form he's showing, but of course, the game picks the players based on rep, regardless of whether they actually perform or no.t
