£51M in debt, but who gives a shit. Going to win the CL and Serie A now.

So I just finished my first season with Chelsea, here's a review.



Won the Premiership with ease, City stayed with me till about 12 games out, where they drew and lost a couple and that was them out of it. My 3 losses were City (2-0 away), Utd (5-1 away, which ended a 27 game unbeaten run ¬¬), Swansea (4-3 last game of the season). I was 1 goal off 100, and 5 points off 100. MUST TRY HARDER! Very pleased to have won it at the first time of asking though.

Signings:

Wellington Nem - £3.5m
Gary Hooper - £5.75m (was desperate on deadline day, short on numbers)
Karim Ait Fana - £1.4m (same as above)
Gabriele Perico - £1.5m (same as above, but played a lot due to injury/suspension and was one of my best players)
Javier Hernandez - £9.75m
Wayne Rooney - £38.5m

Hernandez and Rooney were really unexpected signings, especially for the fee's I paid for them. Utd were say in 9th place as we went into January, so they had a lot of their best players transfer listed by request, that was why I managed to sign them both for decent prices. Hernandez was very hit and miss since joining, so I moved him out to win the wing so I could stick Rooney up front, who was struggling for goals, and since doing that Wayne scored 8 goals in 6 games, so I think he'll be staying up top next year! Wellington Nem failed to live up to most peoples expectations on here, but he was a bit part player, so I'm not overly bothered, scored a few goals. The others were just squad signings.

Premiership - 1st
Carling Cup - 3rd Round (Lost to West Brom)
FA Cup - 6th Round (Lost to Man City)
Champions League - 1st Knockout Round (Lost to PSG, won 2-1 at their place, then Ibra went mad and scored 4 at Stamford Bridge)
Community Shield - Lost to Man City
Super Cup - Lost to Atletico Madrid
Club World Championship - Won (beat Monterrey in final)

So I done the double, nothing special. Lost in a replay vs City in the cup. Went out easily against West Brom in the Carling Cup. Ibra was a *bleep* in the Champions League. Community Shield I lost on penalties, and Falcao scored a hat trick to beat me 4-3 in extra time in the Super Cup. Aiming to win a few more trophies next year.

Best Players;

Eden Hazard - 51 (4) games, 9 goals, 27 assists, 7.42 average rating
John Terry - 25 games, 4 goals, 0 assists, 7.41 average rating
Wayne Rooney - 14 games, 10 goals, 3 assists, 7.38 average rating
Juan Mata - 49 (5) games, 18 goals, 21 assists, 7.37 average rating
Fernando Torres - 27 (4) games, 20 goals, 4 assists, 7.26 average rating
Petr Cech - 57 games, 57 conceded, 23 clean sheets, 7.00 average rating

Torres was brilliant at the start of the season, but got a 3/4 month injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season in January, which is why I signed Rooney and Hernandez. Mata was amazing all season, 18 goals is a fantastic return for a winger. Hazard with 27 assists as well, him and Mata tore teams apart all year. Terry was as good as ever at the back, with Cahill and Ivanovic not far behind him. Cech got 23 clean sheets, fantastic record, 17 of them was the most in the league.

So, onto next season. Looking to clear out a lot of squad players and replace them with real quality. Already signed Walcott, so he'll be joining up with us at the start of the new season.
