Review - Overall I'm happy with my first season, some decent results along the way. We never looked like going down, or challenging at the top either. Having managed to ship out most of the deadwood at the start of the season I am happy with my first choice XI, the aim now is to improve the quality of depth in the squad and aim to challenge for the top, if we can turn some of the draws into wins we should be able to achieve this.

having finally got the game,i decided to try this challenge so far im doing pretty well, tookthe h&w job at start of season,im currently 2ndin the league (1st season) in december, inthe 3rd round of the fa cup and have got to go to brighton! so got money coming in! aiming to get promoted now after a supprising good start!

Heyy guys.. I'm just wandering.. I've started this challenge but while in my second season I realised I'd set my past experience to automatic... Can I still write and share my games progress? Btw.. It seems to have had no effect on me getting better jobs as I keep applying but not succeeding. I used to be a regular with challenge but have only just got back into this and I'am really enjoying my current save and would like to share this with you

I was at Havent and waterloo for 2 and a half years - getting them up to the BSP, and 1 place off of playoffs.

I left them and got offered the walsall job in league 2 - first season finishing 10th, this year I'm pushing for promotion.

Also luca3084 there is no way you should be getting offered a league 1 job if you loaded it correctly.

Just to avoid any doubt... :-)

First thoughts - Brechin don't have a left side...

Well I've had a relatively productive start. I've signed the following players:

As you can see, my left side was absolutely barren hence the focus on left-sided players.

I've played three games so far:

Brechin 2-1 East Stirlingshire (Challenge Cup 1st Round)
Stenhousemuir 0-2 Brechin (League Cup 1st Round)
Brechin 1-0 Stenhousemuir (First League fixture of the Season)

An excellent start, especially when you consider that I had early red cards in both of my first matches.

Onwards and upwards... hopefully.
