Just started a save as Southampton.started pretty well and currently sitting 5th after 6 league games.I've signed Nem,Adryan and Tomkins and a Danish left back that I can't remember his name right now.will be concentraiting on youth tho.

Does anyone know what kind of money they give you in second season if you Finnish mid table in the first?

Anyone still playing as Southampton?

just finished my first season coming 9th which i think was a fair place.

hoping this season i can have a better cup run and push towards a europa place

I had a successful Southampton save were i came in 5th in my first season then in my 2nd season i defeated galatasaray in the final of the euro cup

berglufc finished my first season in 10th. Was pushing for a Europa League spot but we lost momentum in the second half of the season when Lambert and Ramirez got long term injuries.

Brought in Zaha, Stearman and Gordon as first team players as well as some 1 year deal free agents.

For next season i have brought in Andy Carroll on loan, Mattia Destro on a free, and James McCarthy for £7m......looking at a few other players too.

In January of my first season, using Chels's winter update, really enjoying my save.



I'm trying to sign mostly British players, with Wellington Nem being the only long-term signing who doesn't fit that mold. Selling Lambert was tough to do, but I honestly haven't missed him, scoring goals hasn't been a problem.



I was pretty disappointed with Ramirez's form, but part of the problem was that I was rotating his position. He doesn't perform for me on the wings, but in the center (where he's now playing exclusively), he has an average rating of 7.35.

I play a 4-2-3-1 at home, and a 4-3-3 on the road and against tougher opposition.



Not great, not bad. Obviously the defense needs work, giving up the most goals in the league.

I have a ton of transfer money (can adjust to almost 34 million pounds), and I'm looking to make a couple of additions before the window closes. I want to add a veteran right back (who can ideally cover in the center or the left), and a first choice goalkeeper, as Boruc's form has been dire and he's out of contract in the summer anyways. Any recommendations? Ideally British, but I can make exceptions.

Gordon signed with Fulham in the summer, and it appears that they're already willing to part with him, but his attributes pretty poor tbh, and he has an even worse average rating than Boruc in his 6 appearances on the season.

Currently looking in to John Ruddy and Alex Smithies. Ruddy will set me back £5.75M. He just got called up to the England squad for a friendly, and if he gets a cap, he'll be my highest paid player at £39.5K/week. Not ideal, but not outrageous. Smithies will cost me £7.5M (with another £2.5 if he's capped) at £23K/week. Ruddy is rated at 3 stars for CA and PA, while Smithies is 2 for CA and 3.5 for PA. Now that I write it out, it's pretty apparent that Ruddy is the right choice...

Second season could be a challenge for me as well, can't imagine that I'll be able to get back Anderson or Dempsey. Tried to make Dempsey's deal permanent, but he wasn't interested.

Been busy so just loading up star of the 2nd season now. Got a Away trip to Manchester City. Might not get the 3 points but hoping the players put it a good performance.
