Not really. The only player I've truly been attached to is Edinson Cavani. I have had some great regens, but nothing that lives up to the Uruguayan Master.

I've had some regens I've liked a lot on my United save in 2024 but I really got attached to the regens on my Harrogate save while attempting the Youth Academy Challenge this year.

I've had a handful of players over the years on FM that I've become attached to.

In FM10, I had a player called Adam Lee, who I brought from Sunderland to Droylsden as I attempted to win every single trophy with the side up north, including the Champions League. He has been perhaps the greatest signing that I have ever made in FM and with good reason when I take into consideration that I only paid £1.5M for him.

In FM12, I've had a handful of players through my Youth Academy Challenge, like IcarusAbides that I've grown attached to. Two of them in fact. One of these is a young defender, Josh Curd, who has been extremely consistent from day one when he joined the club. Another is Simeon Naylor, who was one of the main reasons I got Dartford to the Premier League, as he scored 30 goals in the Championship, on the way to us getting the league title.

Another player on FM12 I've grown attached to is Juan Ignacio Pringles, an Argentinian that I brought from River for Birmingham City for just £1.3M, he consistently got over 20 goals every season, and it was only because my save got deleted that I didn't win the Premier League title with them, after having won the World Cup with England in the very same save. This was in my story "25 and Still Jobless".

Was attached to one regen on my Hull game on FM08. Dave Darlow, CM who came through the academy. His performances emulated Steven Gerrard and was captain at 22, unfortunately I never got the chance to play on with that save.

There's a few on my Liverpool game now, because I'm in my 11th season. Just sold a GK who I've had since the 2nd season for £50million, he was special and single-handedly stopped me winning the World Cup with England. I've also got the new Xavi in my midfield, a Dutch rock at the back and a genius little Italian up front.

FM2010 - Giacomo Viviano was a DMC who i bought for £5m at 15 years old in my first season. he then broke into the first team late into that season and the next 3 seasons he won the Young Player of the Year and in his 4th won Premier League Player of the Year. value shot up to £32.5m and he and Fabregas dominated central midfield for me.

FM2011 - near enough the whole starting XI but it was the front 3 of Mark Johnson, Richard Poel and Daniel Mitchell who were phenomenal for me. absolutely incredible. Johnson averaged a goal a game (at least) and also chipped in with 20 assists a season too. Poel had about 25 goals a season and 30 assists most seasons as well. Mitchell was also fantastic in that he had a mix of the two and when i bought him for £7.5m his finishing was 8 but had awesome stats elsewhere. but then i got his finishing to 18 and composure to 20 and he was godlike.

FM2012 - my attacking Midfield trio and striker had the best tandem going. AMR was Berti Hunemeier who was a 191cm tall winger who was quick, strong and had a great cross and finish. came into the back post and scored loads!. AML was Juan Sebastian Millan who was club captain and although he was naturally a striker, he had 18 dribbling, crossing and finishing. as well as composure and speed in the higher stats as well. great player. STC was Santiago Rigoni who was great in the air, great with his feet, fast and could cross from out wide. set piece taker as well. but, saving the best for last was my AMC and the playmaker of the side. Vicyohandri Jeanvier who came through the academy and words cannot describe what he was like. simply, the greatest player i've ever had on FM

Bought him for 2.8M from Lyon at the age of 16 (FM11), then played on until he reached his 33rd year. In the meantime, he scored 697 goals for us and 213 for France. Currently my assistant manager.
