Interested about the beta. Might pre-order next week and try and get that. Or can you play that any way regardless of when you buy it?

Was going to pre-order it from Simply Games looking at their price but I don't think that's one of their partners.

I ordered through Amazon yesterday, and got my beta activation code this morning from them via email.

For all pre-orders placed up to and including Sunday, September 30, beta codes and redemption instructions will be e-mailed to you on Tuesday, October 2. For all pre-orders placed after Sunday, September 30, beta codes and redemption instructions will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of placing your order. You will not be able to access the beta until around two weeks before release (to be confirmed), so keep your code safe until then.

Incentives received:
Pre-order Football Manager 2013 from Amazon.co.uk and get early beta access two weeks before the game's release. You can play as many seasons of the beta version as you want, however the beta version will be de-activated the Monday after the full game launches (November 5). To continue your Football Manager career, you will then need to install your full copy of the game.

Offer strictly subject to availability. One code will be issued per order. If you require multiple codes, you will need to split your purchases into multiple orders. A broadband internet connection is required to redeem the incentive along with an active Steam account.

i did the same and got the same message at 4ish.

Ah ok. Don't know why most sites won't at least give people an idea of when they'll send them out. Well at least you know now.

Do you mean 'demo' or 'beta'?

The beta should be out around next friday but the demo will be released 1 week before the game so around the 26th but you don't need a code for the demo.
