Don't start playing Marvel without a referral code! Entering one upon registration will earn you a rare card (another Rare Black Widow!). It will be a great boost to start off the game.

Marvel: War of Heroes Tips:

1. Put your first status points on energy.

2.The number of stats you'll be putting into energy will depend mostly on your playing schedule. If you can check up every hour or so to use up your energy, 60-120 total energy will do. You can adjust it depending on how often you play. If you plan on using Energy Packs, you should put more into energy.

3. Keep your silver in the gift box! Think of it as a bank. A lot of silver is needed to enhance and evolve your card and people will be trying to steal your loot. By keeping your silver in the gift box, you're protecting it from being stolen. When you need the silver, just receive it from the gift box.

4. Higher ranked cards will give more experience when used as enhancers. Evolve your feeder cards first before using them to enhance.

5. Complete the first Resource set (Storm's Cape) 3 times to get 2 Rare Storms and an ISO-8. They only require 10 power so they will fit perfectly into any beginning deck!

6. Save your ISO-8 cards to level up your high rank cards.

7. Mastery Points Farming: Create/Edit a new atk deck (aside from your suggested offensive deck). Place the cards that you want to master into this deck. When battling, search for player with low defense power (< 20) and battle them.

8. Fusing and Max Boosting:
- base 4* and up cards: Fully Boost and Master both the base card and the fuser card before fusing (recommended)
- base 3*: Fully Boost and Master one/both cards before fusing (optional, not suggested)
- base 1* & 2*: DO NOT Fully Boost and Master, they are mainly feeder (enhancing) cards.
Note: When using a fully boosted card in fusion, 10% of the cards stats will be transferred to the fused card. Otherwise, only 5% will be transferred.
Note: Fusing = Evolving, Boosting = Enhancing

9. Mastery levels (when maxed) transfer when fusing.

Another tip expanding on one already listed: always fight for resources since you can collect 3 sets instead of one like all the other card games.

Plus, you can donate the resources to increase the rank and silver of your alliance.

11. Always have max team members! Every team member you have gives you an additional 5 status points.

12. Make sure you have enough energy to fight in a quest at least 3 times. You gain rewards only if you fight in a quest at least 3 times.

13. Skill Lvl: Boosting a UR with 1 Rare (w/ skill) will have a 4% chance of increasing ability lvl; using 10 Rares (w/ abilities) will have a 40% chance of increasing ability lvl.

14. Farm Operation 2 for booster cards. (Personally, I farm 2-4).

15. When you have reached your Card Limit (e.g. 70/70), the cards you receive from missions are automatically sold.

16. Mastery: When doing missions, a random card in your active ATK deck will gain mastery points equivalent to the amount of energy spent per battle.

17. Boost cards with the same type for more experience (ex. Use speed cards to boost a speed card). (Thanks to Akanosius)

Pros:

1. Most cards only have 2 stages of evolution. (Currently, the only exception is [Secret Agent] Black Widow)
2. Mastery System - When a card is "mastered", it gains additional stats. Cards gain mastery levels when questing (random card from your list receives some mastery points) or during battles (cards in your atk deck will gain mastery points).
3. Resources (Treasures) can be completed 3 times each for 3 rewards.

Cons:

1. 2 week trade ban (You can't trade with a player unless they've been in team (friends) or you're in the same alliance for at least 2 weeks).
2. Gift feature does not work.
3. Enhancing takes quite a bit of time.
4. You only get personal (untradable) energy and power packs from quests and bonuses.
Note: 1 & 2 are also pros due to the fact that many players can abuse the rewards by creating multiple accounts and then sending to their main


Notes on [Secret Agent] Black Widow: (All cards not boosted, not mastered)

Boosting/Mastery: [Card Rarity - Max Level - Mastery Points Required]
R - 20 - 20
SR - 30 - 60
SSR - 40 - 150 (Thanks to whatitdo)
UR - 50 - 350

Fusion:
BW (R) + BW (R) = BW+ (SR) [1,404 ATK, 1,340 DEF]
BW (SR) + BW (SR) = BW++ (SSR) [1,697 ATK, 1,617 DEF]
BW (SSR) + BW (SSR) = BW+++ (UR) [2,036 ATK, 1,941 DEF]

Thus, it is possible to Fuse a 4-8 BW.

BW+++ (UR), Lvl 1, using 8 Base BW (following above fusion) = 2,036 ATK, 1,941 DEF
BW+++ (UR), Lvl 1, using 4 Base BW = 2,004 ATK, 1,912 DEF

There is a small increase in stats when fusing using 4 base BWs and 8 base BWs. Note that all the cards used were not boosted and not mastered. There will be a significant increase in stats of a 4-8+ BW+++ versus a 4-4 BW+++ if all cards were max boosted and mastered.

Lv: 40 PWR REQ: 12 Mastery: 150/150
ATK: 5341 DEF: 5104
Ability: Fatal Beauty
Ability Lv: 1
Effect: Notably intensify attacks and defense on all your Cards.

Evolution: (all cards maxed)
R1 + R2 = SR1
R3 + R4 = SR2
SR1 + SR2 = SSR


UR BW+++ (maxed all stages, 8 base evo)
Lv: 50/50 PWR REQ: 16
ATK: 6435 DEF: 6149
Mastery: 350/350
Card XP: 100%
Ability: Fatal Beauty
Ability Lv: 1  Usage: Average
Effect: Remarkably intensify attacks and defense on all your Cards.

These are close to the max stats a UR BW+++ can have.

Hoping that the Assignments are expanded at some point to go higher. I was expecting them to work in tiers (win a fight, get: x, win 10 fights, get: x, etc) but was disappointed to see them stop so soon. Hopefully the Catalogue is also updated to give some kind of benefit. Love the lore, but I'd love some bonuses while I'm collecting.
