Excited?

So did the news bring excitement to your soul or was it just kind of a pass and go sort of thing? I am a little bit excited after looking and concept art and hearing about how different the battle system is going to be.

i'm interested in the game but i'm generally interested in most new final fantasy games. i don't think i'll get excited about the game until it gets closer to the release date or more information is released. i am looking forward to see how the trilogy will end though, that's for sure.

Would've loved to see some versus news as well but with the way this us turning out it may be very good.

Then why bother posting?
Some people need to get over VII, it's not Squeenix's style to remake. So why continue to whine about it on the other game forums? Do something productive, petition or something, just do it on the VII forum.


I'm actually quite excited for this, sure, some Versus news would be nice... But I appreciate any and all Final Fantasy news (okay, most news).

I'm more excited than I was for XIII-2, that's for sure.

2. Square Enix's ideology seems to revolve around taking interactivity from the player. Like FF13, where if you had a turbo controller you could set A/X to turbo and tape it down, while getting a rubber band to hold the left analog stick in the forward position...... the game played it's self.

With Auto-Battle and the amount of things you DID NOT control, you were really not needed.

Honestly it would be pretty stupid to make sequels for the past superior games. One because they don't have all the original people who created those masterpieces. They are just creating crap right now, would you really want to have them currently making sequels for those great games? They would ruin them completely.

Also Squeenix shouldn't be in the business of making sequels to begin with. They should just make it one game. One Final Fantasy (enter number here) and that's its. Focus on the story of one game to make it the best it can be instead of half assing it to make 3 games each with weak stories. Only reason they're doing this is because they turned away from making high quality games for the sake of making more games to get more profits. Money ruins a lot of things.

The whole FFVII needs a remake dilemma needs to stop. If people just go anywhere to demand that or even mention it then maybe they shouldn't be going to the other forums. In reality there is still alot of people out there that do not care, it's better to see fresh content than seeing something getting rehashed again. But then again, this might change depending on how FFX HD is received.
