The weird action RPG from Keiji Inafune and friends Soul Sacrifice needs a little more time in development, it seems, and as such, will be launching spring 2013 in Japan. Naturally, North Americans will have to wait longer for it, too, though no release window has been set there yet.
The game was originally planned to launch this winter; it's good then publisher Sony didn't see fit to push the game for a holiday release, given it's running a little behind schedule. Apparently the delay is specifically to "ensure that it's a quality title" (according to Siliconera).
A demo will still be released in the winter, so eager fans in Japan won't have to wait too long to give it a taste.
