For some strange reason my game randomly closes. It is very annoying and I just wondered if anyone else has got this problem and if anyone knows what causes it.

it happens with my sim city 4, its extremely annoying, i had played for about 2.5 hours straight without saving. damn it sucked. any ideas anyone?

It wouldn't be so bad if it gives you a chance to save the game before it closes. I think it must be an unstable object in the game somewhere or a program interferes with it. I've had a look on the SC4 website loads of times but, they haven't released anything for the game.

i have this problem too it happens when you press the number buttons to zoom in or out also i think it happens when you go into the closest zoom

I also have a slowdown on one of the cities when I have Industry developing.

It doesn't close as often now.

If u have a custom building without a UI (User Interface) in other words the building info, then when u click on it the game randomly shuts down. Happens to me alot

It seems to be very random. You can go for hours without it shutting down. And then you could go on the game tommorow and it will shut down.

I fixed mine !
If your on vista.. right click on the simcity icon and click
Run as Adminastrator.. This stopped all my problems in simcity... and believe me try this with other games u have, that have problems, it generally fixes them...

No this is with XP and Sim City 4 where the game randomly crashes.
