Anyhow,Roy ideas have some flaws.It should be more than the robot sonics against them.That should be one part of the full story.One part/Part 1 of Sonic Adventure 3 should have as much story as Sonic Unleashed!Imagine 5 parts that big!But the memory and processing it will take from the system...........

^ So, they expected to do all of the actions all by himself with no help??

^ I ment, say like, his grand debut way back in 1991, Secret Rings, Unleashed, Colours, Generations!! Those were the games that and only would do everything and play through all the stages!! No other characters were playable in the main story and missions itself!!

Unleashed, Colours and Generations had 1 thing in common:- that would change into a 2nd form, namely the Wherehog, Wisps and classic versions!! Unleashed (day), Generations (act 2) and Colours
all had the same style of speed boost, attacks, and 2D/3D style of gameplay!!

In 2005 where there were weapons, was the only playable character there!! Sidekicks didn't really do anything, they were only there to explain the hints on how to do those Hero and Dark missions!! was the one that did all the actions!!

Not the other games, where there was other playable characters and teamwork involved!!

^ But, like you say, people didn't like how we switch to different characters in Heroes, which makes me them want to play as all the time!!

2006 was just like SADX, using different characters to do bits and pieces that the hedgehogs can't do!! You also mentioned that they were trying to turn Miles Prower and Ivo Robotnik into E-102 Γ aswell, like unique terminators!!

They shoild bring back hyper sonic, super/hyper knuckles, and super tails
And allow to transform in all normal levels, not just super sonic for the last

It is important to add a bunch of characters to play with like you said, because Sonic Colors lacked that and so did some other newer Sonic games that were released post Adventures and Heroes.

1] Cut the end rank. I find that most Sonic games nowadays focus more on getting the highest rank than on the actual playability at your own pace.
2] To add what was said about fighting the Sonicbots [for want of a better name] in the main story, how about Sonic and co are transported into a world where Eggman has won and rules the world?
3] Extensive Chao Garden. Cannot emphasize this enough.
4] Open world levels? This surely fits the story well.
5] More than just getting from point A to point B for the main missions of the story.
6] A small niggle but surely, like racing games, we can have the camera always facing the back of the character? Except maybe in boss battles, but even then, the camera needs to be stable.
