DICE hasn't given up on Battlefield 4 quite yet. The last time anyone heard from DICE they were focusing on fixing the game before working on anything else, because of the sheer number of problems that have been reported with the title since its release last October. While no official patch date has been announced, a post on the official forums gives the current time frame of late January to early February. Battlefield 4 players may find themselves downloading the latest update as soon as tomorrow.
No changelog has been published, though we're promised that the patch will "include a number of stability improvements, tweaks, and fixes." DICE has a fairly limited public issue tracker that shows some of the more prominent bugs in Battlefield 4. Sadly, this doesn't give much insight to what might be fixed in the upcoming round of fixes as everything that isn't already fixed is still under investigation. A full changelog has been promised once the update is live.
