The premise behind Assassin's Creed III Liberation is beautifully sculpted. A woman with the ability to blend into high culture, but also pose as a slave may be the perfect assassin. Beyond that, the emotions tied to such conflicting personas, the racist culture and the background storyline that there is a war going on to free all slaves -- damn. Connor is mysterious, but character building potential around Aveline is deep and dramatically complex. Ubisoft's latest trailer gives us a closer look at Liberation's protagonist.
Assassin's Creed III Liberation will be released for the Vita on October 30, the same day Assassin's Creed III is released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. While it's certain to be much less popular as a side story on handheld with underwhelming adoption numbers, at least in my opinion I find it much more interesting. I'll always side with a personal story before a carnival ride of extravagant events. I digress, Assassin's Creed fans are certain to be spoiled later this month.
