Splinter Cell: Blacklist's August 20 release is speedily approaching, so it's about time we finally hear details about the game's collector's edition. Unfortunately, Michael Ironside won't jump out of the box as a surprise, but their is a fairly fancy remote controlled airplane instead. The Paladin RC Aircraft will be a three-channel, two engine craft, which I think means it's pretty rad? 

Here's the full list of goodies to be included in the $200 collector's edition, as best as can be told from the trailer and promo image:

Needless to say, that Paladin RC aircraft must be pretty dang expensive to justify the $200 asking price for a collector's edition. That's a fairly high asking price even amongst the most limited of editions. I highly doubt it's as high tech as the one that's been shown in recent trailers. Or is it?

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 20. Preorders for the Paladin collector's edition should be available with major retailers soon.
