WWE '14

First off I just want to apologize to the people I've offended. Earlier I was just a lil irritated that some of my favorite wrestlers from the Attitude Era didn't make the cut cuz of some bullshit.

Anyway I know it's hella early, But I'm already looking forward to WWE '14 already since I've lost all of the hype for this years. Don't get me wrong, WWE '13 has the best roster since HCTP BTH, just a lil dissapointed that guys like The Hardyz, Probably The Dudleyz, Chyna, Sable, Kurt Angle, Owen Hart, WCW, ECW etc. didn't make it in. BTW I don't even know the complete roster yet.

What are your predictions for Next years installment. I think that WWE is gonna go the NBA 2K route and Retain the Attitude Era people, along with some new Attiude Era stars that didn't make it WWE '13, and throw in ECW and WCW for an Invasion storyline. Which would probably the most complete roster since HCTP. And new stars who just signed with WWE like Alex Shelley, Amazing Red, Sara Del Rey, Angelina Love etc. will make it in next year.

I think Next Year when TNA stars Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, The Dudley Boyz, Sting, etc. are possibly returning to WWE next year, cuz The Dudleyz TNA contract are set to expire in a few weeks, Hardy and Angle's contract are set to expire next year.

I think they're gonna go all out next year. Also the people that are in the Attitude Era like The Rock, Triple H, Edge, Christian, Y2J, etc. their version of that attires are part of their Character selections.

You don't know that. Also It's on PS3 and Xbox360 now. They could fit 100+ characters in there.

The technology now is amazing, and they're capable of having that much characters.

It's not even that - if they inserted 100-ish superstars in the game, let's say it was possible, it's not only the space that would be an issue... but the treatment of each superstar's features individually.

First of all, you want all these guys lined up and created in a single WWE game, all with top notch current-gen models. Nevermind the fact each model takes a long time to perfect, let's talk... alternate attires. Who would get them? Each attire demands a certain amount of time to fix and perfect onto the superstar, and damn sure not every single superstar's gonna get one. More like a 10th of the roster, or a 1/15th to which there will always be a complaint somewhere "why did Edge/Miz/Christian/Ziggler/Road Dogg/Grandmaster Sexay/Matt Hardy not get their t-shirt attires!?"

Second, all those entrances... all the moves that's gonna require to be added into the game, perfected and animated as crisp as can be... yeah some of them are gonna be shit. Some of the entrances will be lazily programmed and out of touch. Oh, you want alumni from WCW and ECW? Hello, copyright issues. Alumni logos, theme songs, theme video footage and that's just barely scraping the barrel, my friend.

Third, no matter what, and I stress this not enough... the roster will never be up to date. You can have a roster of 97 guys but people will still feel jipped about the new upstart wrestler on Raw who won the US title in mere weeks or the 7" giant who has an impressive look not making it in.

Having an encyclopedia of a roster is a great pipe dream, don't get me wrong, but realize that not everything would be nickel about it. You can download CAWs these days... the series has come a long way in terms of accomodating CAW usage.

PS3 doesn't have that problem, it uses Blueray, that's why games like ME2&3, L.A. Noir don't have to use multiple disc... you 360 users are holding us back lol

Funny...I made a thread in General PS3 about that ages back...Feel kind of bad for Sony to be honest...

They can take WWE '13 or even WWE '12's roster,add Ryback,and I would be satisfied.

Microsoft will have to come with another sort of disk for next-gen console, Blu-ray is designed and manufactured by sony/Philips & Pioneer, i don't think they are gonna allow MS to use it.

As for the fact of certain people or stuff not making it in the game ... copyright issues, remember wwe'12 and the smackdown intro theme they used in the game . You've lost the hype for a game because of some superstars not being in it. It seems like some people need to realize that TNA & WWE aren't the same company.

Hardy boyz: Jeff is at TNA & Matt is somewhere in lala-land talking to imaginary pink flamingo's
Dudley boyz: in TNA
Chyna: Don't think WWE is gonna allow a porn actress to be related with any product with their name on.
Kurt Angle: TNA
Owen Hart: The widow of Owen Hart does not want that the image nor name of Owen Hart is used by anything related to WWE.
Sting: Never been in WWE, is currently in TNA.

Did you ever even held any hope that they would make it in?

Just release a WWE Attitude era game already for all the old farts like me who think they should've never bought WCW and ECW ....
