The latest footage for Haemimont Games' Omerta: City of Gangsters shows off the combat system, and throws in some classic 20s music for good measure.
Omerta, if you don't know, mashes together a 1920s Atlantic City setting with city building and tactical combat mechanics. In other words, you've never played anything quite like this before, excepting maybe 1999's Mob Rule, which was merely okay from what I understand.
Regarding the combat, as you'll see in the video below, you get destructible environments, dynamic fog of war, friendly fire, status ailments, and more.
Omerta launches sometime next year on PC and 360.
