You only need to change Thiago Silva and Mario Balotelli in order to get rid of the red lines attached to them. You may as well make it a Liga BBVA squad considering nine out of your starting XI are from that league.

For striker, you would probably want to get Benzema or IF Higuain.

CB is a little bit harder. I would go with one of Puyol, Mascherano or Pique. Mascherano is the quickest but has the worst heading ability, which is pretty important for a defender. Puyol has the best heading ability but is also the slowest. Pique is somewhere in between for both. All have good defensive stats anyway.

I would also recommend getting a different pairing for defensive-midfield. Both Kaka and Ozil are great players, but they are not defensive minded at all. Both have terrible defensive stats. Busquets, Khedira, Song or even Xabi Alonso would be better choices imo.

Many thanks for your prompt responses; I wasn't aware that defensive mid-fielders should have that high defensive stats (duh!)...I was focused on pace, passing and shooting.

I have Benzema and IF Higuain; they were good but I wanted to go for heading power; got fed up of players scoring headers using Falcao, Klose and Balotelli.

I'm only keen on having Messi & Ronaldo; I love playing with Ronaldo, he is better than Messi...the rest are flexible.
