In their second quarter earnings report today, publisher EA announced that their latest soccer title FIFA 13 (or FIFA Soccer 13 in North America) had sold a whopping 7.4 million units in its four weeks on the market.
Yeah, that's a lot of copies, though it'd be especially interesting to know which platform came out on top. FIFA 13 is actually available for just about every platform still around today, from the typical ones like Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii, to handhelds and the PlayStation 2. The soccer sim is also available for iOS and Android, but that 7.4 mil doesn't take mobile sales into account. Now just imagine how many more EA would sell once the Wii U version lands in November.
FIFA 13 launched in late September for 360, PS3, PC, PS2, PS Vita, PSP, Wii, 3DS, and iOS.
