4-5-1 is good. My Bundesliga side uses it. It's just very very attacking. When you go forward your entire midfield goes forward. You need to ensure that your defence is solid to prevent counter attacks as your midfield will very rarely be able to cover.

That said, you can sit deep and play on the counter very effectively if you like that style of play. Then your CM and wingers drop quite deep and break quickly.

skadoosh, i've only used 4-5-1 for two games but euphoric is pretty much spot on. i kept my mentality on balanced so didn't really play for counter attacks so i can't comment on that aspect. but when i attacked, the cam's, wingers and striker all go forward and you have a lot of attacking options. found that my cm went forward to at times and would be at the edge of the area and when the opposition countered you need to be good enough to cope with just your 4 defenders lol. i tried to get a cm's who would sit deep and help the defence but with the new attacking ai, they just go forward when they want.

Idk why, but I've made a silver and bronze Polish side. Think I'll just use them for the offline seasons.

my wide players Valencia and Dempsey both have medium defensive workrates so hopefully they'll do a bit of covering, while Fellaini has medium/high which works well for Defour in my liga portuguesa side.

This game is so *bleep*ing frustrating.Changed to a 3-5-2 a few days ago. Playing someone who has RVP, Aguero, Young, Valencia and Hart in goals, 2-0 up and walking.it, he gets a man sent off, and then I turn to shit due to this and end up losing 3-2.
I'm confused with UT. Had 2 people quit on me with the score at 0-0, got coins both times yet got no win for them? Had it suggested it was cos they quit before the 5th minute but they both quit after it?
