- One sentence replies that add no discussion value to the thread are not something that we are looking to see. Posts that are well structured and easy on the eye are what we are trying to attain.

- Constructive criticism of updates is very welcome however blatant abuse is breaking the rules and will not be tolerated.

- This thread is an overview of what we are aiming to achieve in terms of post quality. All member's are advised to look at this thread before posting so that you know how to maintain a respectable posting standard in this forum.

Now that quite a few of us have got the season ticket (I got it an hour ago). We can now start discussing our Career Modes. I know lloyd and standrfc have it downloaded now.

I have started as Newcastle and I have brought in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for 8.5m (bargain!), Grant Holt for 2m, Theirry Henry for 3m and I am in the process of buying Kurt Zouma. Won all my friendlys, beat Monchengladbach 5-1, Genoa 3-0 and Real Sociadad 1-0. Now have Tottenham. This is a massive improvement on Fifa 12's career mode aswell, a massive improvement indeed...

mine hasnt downloaded yet . anyone know Man City's budget as i may start as them, looking to bring in Neymar, Lucas or Ganso. I might also look to buy Oxlade-Chamberlain as you can get him for 8m.

Started as Manchester United. I decided to bring in a right-back and a defensive midfielder so I brought in Abate from AC and Tiote from Newcastle. One thing I have noticed is that I got many more offers for my players than I did in FIFA 12. There was a new offer for a different player every three or four days.

I also like how they have continued on from last year's game regarding the real-life fixtures. I simmed my friendlies and my first game of the season was against Southampton as that game had been rescheduled. I drew that game 3-3. Then came Everton at Goodison Park. They scored after four minutes but I equalized a few minutes later. That's the way it stayed and it finished 1-1. The last game I played last night was Fulham at home. I was determined to win and keep a clean sheet after the wobbly start. I won 2-0 although both goals were quite lucky and Fulham missed some good chances.

There are quite a few small additions that I find pleasing. Van Persie is my top goalscorer with four goals and at one point, the camera zoomed in on him and the bar came along the bottom of the screen illustrating he was the top goalscorer. Really small thing but a nice touch I thought. Also the draws for the cups are voiced now so you can hear who you have been drawn against without having to go looking at the fixtures. Again small things but a nice addition.

man city have 83 million punds

If you want a challenge I would go with Reading, their squad is shocking and they don't get much money at all.

Nah, sorry. Neymar is quite cheap compared to last year though.

ive started as Man C but ive considered starting again. i bought Neymar for £15m + dzeko.

if i do start again i'll chose either Arsenal or Liverpool
