Was taking the piss out of people who blindly defend the game and refuse to accept it's the same game over and over again with blatant scripting and instead just tell people they 'aren't good enough' or are 'just bitter'.

I agree with most of your post. In fairness they did change a decent bit of the game last year with the tactical defending (I know it was sort of the game before with rb to jockey) and the head to head seasons were very good but they're not changing the core elements of the game that ruins it both offline and online ie. the abuse of (chipped) through balls, speed is the most important quality of a player. The penalty awarding system can be shocking too. Unfortunately these are the things that will take serious work from EA and I don't expect it to be remedied in just one game but they appear to be making absolutely no effort whatsoever.
