I think unless maybe Chad's pushing for it, somebody will have to request an UT sub-forum.

There's no real urgency for Mods as far as I can tell, there's no issues on the board. As long as there's one up before the game's released it should be fine. :>

Banning guests from game forums isn't gonna happen.

What a horrible decision. Of course guests should be allowed to post. The limitations should only be put there on social-type forums or those which have constant adbots spamming imo, just because some guests might spam or act like dicks doesn't mean you should stop others who have genuine questions or feedback.

you will find a lot of guests posting Phising Links so they could get access to people's Ultimate Teams on the wep app. Major problem on Fifa so understandable guests are banned on most fifa forums now.

Think there was enough activity on the UT forum last year to warrant a sub-forum this year round tbh.

UT sub-forum yes. Keeps this main forum from being spammed up with trade requests from 10 year lds.

Major, 100%, undeniable yes on banning guests. Removes an awful lot of the phishing links (that even if members aren't silly enough to fall for, other guests are) as well as prevents spamming etc...

It's bad enough trying to keep on top of the newly registerred members trying to cheat, let alone if you throw guests into the equation too.

As for mods, they're not essential just yet, and to be completely blunt everything I've predicted would happen with the Fifa 11 forum and Fifa 12 forum came true iirc; a massive lack of activity after release due to a lack of a decent userbase and no decent competitions. You may have some success if you get a Neoseeker club going online at the start (which is when the game is at it's best, imo) in terms of boosting discussion and generating activity, but past that you've really just got to accept that the people who frequent the forum after a few months only really do it to be amongst other 12 year olds talking about shagging RE teachers and other make-believe stories.
