	Log in to remove this sponsored message So MLG Dallas is going on right now - the first MLG event of the season with $50,000 on the line. It's at the Winners Final stage (basically the semi-final) at the moment. It's all being streamed live (and shoutcasted) @: http://www.twitch.tv/mlgcod and has 24,000 viewers (was up at 30k when fan-favourite Optic gaming were on earlier) So whats everyones thoughts on Competitive COD? Love it/Hate it. Personally I enjoy it, a lot of people will look down on it and just say "campers" but it's really not - especially with Hardpoint being played every series (along with SnD and CTF). I find it very useful to discover new strategies, lines of sight, Anchor spots etc. It's all about the win and it's good to see. + these guys shots are incredible, not to mention the communication that the teams have. Well that's what I consider 'competitive COD' as opposed to the people who do gamebattles and then act like their the dogs b0ll0x in a public match. Those guys are douches. Other games on are Starcraft II & LoL, both with substantially more viewers

	What makes you think they don't go and play sports? Considering an MLG event runs for 3 days a month. Plus, they go with a group of friends and have fun and if they're good enough they make some serious cash for playing a video game. Some make a living off it. Especially this time around with the chance to qualify for another LAN next month with a 1,000,000$ price pool. And Treyarch basically made competitive COD the focal point of COD this year.

	I support MLG and pro-gaming. I just don't care to watch Call of Duty. It's a really fun game to play, but I can't help but be bored watching even the best of the best just play. I love reading your posts here, but this certainly wasn't one of them. Anyway, MLG events are freakin' awesome to watch. It may just be a video game, but when you're watching these events, the best of the best are participating, which makes it so entertaining. It's crazy to see how well they work together as a team. You also learn a lot, as redmanc90 already mentioned.
